It does not have any dents or dings. Despite the shipping damage, the product arrived intact. It does not include an assembly manual. It only took one phone call for Amazon to correct the error. The unit looks good and provides a good source of heat. 2 days after being fully operational, the site is still new. It had to be burnt for a couple hours while the windows were open so that slight odor could be burned off. The durability is unknown, I will let you know if there are any issues. In summary, I give it a C-. This fireplace is very nice. I'm done - Over the course of the past year, the date**** has been used. There were no problems at all. I would recommend it. It is possible that the thermostat on the remote is not calibrated correctly. Over time, figuring out what to do becomes a lot easier. I almost feel like this works too well. This creates a cooling effect. The product is great!.

It's too dark, and it's both pros and cons

As soon as my old fireplace failed, I bought this one for my family room. The pros include It was delivered before its Deliveries were made by a friendly company, who were very accommodating. The assembly instructions are simple to follow. The unit heats a room which is 18' by 34' very efficiently. The cons are I find this disappointing Possibly due to the dark back of the firebox, the flame is not nearly as large as it should be and there seems to be no way to adjust it. If I had not seen it before I would have exchanged it for something lighter or avoided the purchase altogether.

I have attempted since October to get parts for this product that were missing from the package sent to me, but I have not received them

I was told there would be no problem and that they would send me the damaged or missing parts. They then stopped responding to me. As of right now, I have an ineffective nonworking device It sits in the corner of my living room, working as a fireplace decoration. My solution would have been to disassemble it and send it back months ago if the machine wasn't so large.
