What are the thread sizes and types on this product?

There are two 3/8 inch female pipe thread input ports, one straight and the other 90°. The output is a female pipe thread of half an inch.

What is the diameter of the pipe that connects the intake and outflow? My current one has a 12" inlet and a 38" outlet. ?

The inflow is 1/2 inch, while the outflow is 3/8 inch.

Many reviews claim that it won't work with a 20-pound tank. Anyone who has had success with this would be willing to share the components and configuration list that they used? What are your explanations?

This is an all-purpose mixer that can be used with either propane or natural gas log lighters. There's nothing in Dante's literature that says this won't work with 20-pound tanks.

On a mid-sized LP tank, it will not work

I'm not sure if it was because my 30 pound LP tank didn't have enough pressure or because it was just a bad setup, but it leaked gas from the air intake and would burn the area around the mixer, which was not fun.

I tried using it for my with no instructions at all

There were no instructions, and I tried to use it for my homemade firepit, but it didn't work out. All of the pictures I saw showed this unit horizontally with the small window facing up, but I'm not sure if that's the only way it works.

If you're using a 20-pound propane tank, you won't be able to use it

If you're using a standard 20-pound propane tank, this won't work. This will only work if your home has a large tank in the backyard and is completely plumbed in black iron.

This is a high-quality item that will last a long time. I moved it from my previous mixer so that the air intake port wouldn't get clogged with ashes.
