According to the manufacturer's instructions, the control knobs must be higher than the inlet ports. Thank you, Allparts Equipment and Accessoriesbr>Technical Service Teambr>
The valve must be replaced with a complete replacement kit of components, which can be purchased under the part number 20301079. The old Honeywell valve had all of the controls attached to the valve control panel, so it's a little more complicated than just a valve.
It should be tested when it leaves the factory. It should work if everything is connected properly, including the power (switch) and wire connections. There could be a variety of reasons why it isn't working. In any case, professional installation of gas lines is highly recommended. Your life is far more valuable than the few hundred dollars you'll save, and those gas lines are extremely finicky, so they'll need to be checked after the work is done regardless.
did the assy for your new pilot? Do you want to include the thermocouple? If not, this could be the source of the issue. br>Does the flame stay on if the "on/off" switch is used to bypass the thermostat?

I'm not sure if this is the only instance or if there will be more. The Nova Sit 820 valve has a good track record, but this one's pilot side works fine, but the burner side won't light. The thermal pile reading is 580, and there is no evidence of anything. There is no gas flow despite the fact that the line for flow and orifice are clean and clear. A faulty valve has been discovered. br>I figured I could save a little money because the name and ID were the same.
This was a perfect match for one that had stopped working properly in a fireplace. The new one is up to date and functioning properly. Warning: Because of three factors, this can be a difficult installation. First and foremost, the valve comes with no instructions. Two, as a substitute, access may be extremely limited. Finally, anything involving natural gas or LPG must be installed and started safely.
It was a nightmare dealing with this company. For a small and light item, I was charged both a shipping return fee and a "restocking" fee. If I had known about these conditions, I would not have purchased because the part was not the correct one.
This product is a perfect match for my current Sit 820 Nova. My old unit was sold when the farm was purchased, but the replacement is excellent, and my fireplace looks brand new.
It was delivered on time, and it was the exact part that we needed to repair our gas fireplace, which had stopped working. (After the dealer informed us that the replacement part was unavailable and that we would have to purchase a completely new fireplace because ours was 16 years old. . . ).
br>I requested that they contact me so that I could request a return or exchange, but no one has ever done so. I thought it was against the law to sell things that don't work? br>It was a complete waste of money. br>THIS BUSINESS SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
It worked perfectly and appeared to be brand new. For shipping, it was extremely well packaged.
Perfect and exact oem replacement part for my Lennox insert; note instructions for new part pilot setting; sit your old part next to this one and the pilot setup takes ten seconds and is simple. This seller comes highly recommended for quick shipping and excellent customer service.
