Adding this fireplace to our basement tv wall was a great idea. As of yet, we have not test the heat output because our basement is not finished. However, I have to say that I love the design so far.

As a result of getting this fireplace early, I was super excited to have my son hang it for me on the wall in the living room. I have unpacked the item and noticed the great quality and easy instructions on how to mount it on a In the end, upon seeing where the cable is (on the side) and realizing that the entire back of the unit is solid and flat to the wall, we discovered that it would not be possible to plug the unit into the outlet I intended to use, and using an extension cord would be unsafe. As soon as I notified Vitesse Customer Service of my problem, they helped me to resolve it quickly and satisfactorily. It's a highly recommended product -- just be sure you understand the cord is on the side of the unit, and that must be taken into consideration when choosing its placement on the Moreover, I would also like to mention that I had a wonderful experience with the customer service department!.

We were limited by the heights of the units offered by builders because of the way they framed the fireplace wall (this was when we didn't know which fireplace we would buy and couldn't easily reframe it), so we were limited to units with lower back inset heights. As most of the other models they sell require 18" height, this was the only 50" model that fit. It appears that so far there are no issues with the looks or performance. only reason it received only 4 stars is that the instructions were vague and the drawings were so small that it was hard to read. The majority of videos we saw in the search did not show an installation video for this model, and the majority of pictures showed flanges that were screwed into the wall studs on either side of the It took us a while to figure out that you need to insert a screwdriver in a cut out from the front of the unit, through a hole in the back, and into a support stud behind it. We did not face any difficulty achieving 5 stars because we were dealing with an open wall at the time, but a simple video or larger pictures or more detail in the instructions would have made it a 5 star experience.

Having that quality was important to me because I live in a hot climate most of the time. It has lovely colors and looks like a very expensive item. Additionally, it came significantly faster than it was predicted to happen.
