When the unit detects hot water flowing through its piping, the fan starts to turn on. A switch on the front of the unit can be used to turn off the fan. When the unit's hot water cools, the fan, however, turns off.
Kitchen kickspace heaters come in a variety of btu outputs and are primarily used in kitchens. The 4k heater is, i believe, the smallest and, assuming an average house new construction in the North East, is good for a room size of approximately 400 square feet. The size of the room is 10' x 10'. However, there are several factors to consider, including the number of exterior walls, windows, and doors.
It does not require 20 amps to operate, but it will work with either 15 or 20 amps.
I think it's possible. There's no reason why it shouldn't be possible. The only thing that passes through it is water and a small fan blower. If using in conjunction with other heaters, use monoflo tees.

So far, this has been a fantastic unit. The thermal switch is very responsive and well matched to the unit, resulting in excellent heat distribution. If this unit had been designed so that it could be taken apart and serviced without having to remove the entire unit, I would have given it a five-star rating. Most people don't give it much thought, but as a skilled repair technician in other fields, I understand how important it is. When the time comes to repair or replace the fan due to bearing noise, I'll have to wrestle with removing it from under the cabinet and opening my boiler system, refilling, purging air, and so on. Otherwise, this is a nice unit that does what it's supposed to do.
This is an excellent little device. It's very quiet, produces a lot of heat, and unlike other models, it even came with an air bleeder. br>My only gripe is that the water lines are a little short, making soldering a little more difficult, but not impossible.
They've always been a favorite of mine, and I really like how simple they are to put together. It would be nice if 1/2 inch extensions were a little easier to adapt, and the wiring connections were a little too tight! Otherwise, everything is fine.
This is a great little heater! It's perfect for the under-cabinet storage in my bathroom.
Compact, powerful, and quiet all at the same time. It has outperformed a unit that is many times its size. Despite my limited space, installation was a breeze. The product is well-made.
I've been gradually replacing my wall radiators with these units. They're great and give off a lot of heat. The unit is installed between the wall's wood (joces) and the cover is flush with the wall, saving 6 inches of space. br>My most recent installation was in a bathroom under a new cabinet. Because the flexible kit appeared to be flimsy, I hard piped it. The only issue we had was removing the air from the unit. I had trouble getting the air out because it was so low. (mono flow system)br>At the end of each pipe, I installed two 1/2 bleeder valves, which solved the problem. (I can now bleed in reverse)br>I adore this company. They sell a fantastic product that is far more appealing than those unsightly radiators or baseboard heaters.
It is relatively quiet and emits a. In my kitchen, I have one of these. It appeals to me. It's relatively quiet and generates a significant amount of heat. I'd suggest it.
