One that would fit in an 18 1/2 inch window was on my list of things to look for. These fit perfectly, are quiet, and provide excellent performance. You can even use the remote control to operate it. My thermostat is set to 68* and on energy save with the fan on auto, so the temperature stays the same. absolutely love it. It is exactly what I had in mind.

My favorite part is the ending. Despite its relatively low noise level, it offers a good number of features and comes with a remote that can be very useful. The timer controls allow me to set it automatically, and despite the fact that it has electronic controls, it remembers those settings and turns on by itself on power restoration (by the timer). Keeping the temperature at a comfortable level is easy. This unit works well in a 9 x 12 bedroom and it can keep it as cold as I want it. Only one thing I don't know yet about is the reliability of the unit, seeing as how This seems to be a well-made product. It's rare for me to purchase a service plan, but I did this time. The price was $45 for four years, which seems like a good deal to me, especially considering the negative reviews that mention problems with the unit and getting service. Using a simple diverter, I built a router That was a problem that was Also, the installation instructions were extremely unclear, and I was unable to perform an installation satisfactorily due to the brass weatherstripping blocking the sill on my window. If the sash is down, which it should be, it would require a slight downward slope, but you couldn't measure the slope with the sash down. It's also not possible for me to clip the bottom of the unit with the clips provided. In addition, the manual indicates two pieces of weatherstripping are included, but I only got one (plus an odd, sticky foam that isn't shown in the parts list), and the instructions don't describe how and where to use it.

- It has been over six months now, and the 1 TCL unit I still have (I think the 2nd device was damaged in the Amazon transport process) is performing superbly. Not the quietest, but it does maintain a temperature of 42 degrees Fahrenheit throughout a 600 square foot area fairly well. Despite the fact that I raised the stars to 4, I do not think the issue with the other unit was a defect so much as it was due to Amazon mishandling it during shipping. Compared to the frigidaire I got from brandsmart, I feel this is a better buy.

EDIT I suppose so. There wasn't much time left for that. I discovered that the fan on one unit stopped spinning for no apparent reason after 2 weeks of use. There is evidence that the device is still trying to run the condenser, but it would be useless without a fan moving to blow air over Hah, I can make sense of the engineering if I try hard enough. Whatever way you look at it. The product is clearly defective. Customer service was not very helpful this time around, even though Amazon customer service is usually very helpful. My first day was a nightmare. I spoke to four separate reps and eventually was told a "specialist" would need to call in 24 hours before the replacement could be sent. It wasn't ready to ship back for 24 hours, so I called back and was just told that no replacement would be given and that I would be refunded and have the item shipped back. I asked one more time and another two reps told me no replacement would be given for this device. After going through the refund process, I just went to Brandsmart USA and purchased a better and more reliable brand. It is important to note that Amazon sent the device upside down (a condition that likely damaged the product). It is impossible for me to trust Amazon to even deliver a fragile unit in good condition, much less that they weren't even wearing masks and handed it over by hand to my landlord who is 50+ years old. Total disregard for health, product or safety about the delivery. One of my worst experiences ever with anything I have ordered from Amazon, as well as their customer service. Those two things are critical, and I cannot emphasize them I am reviewing the original version of the book. It would have been so much easier if I only knew! The device stays cold, maintains the temperature, and is able to maintain an eco mode at any temperature. My only complaint is that the fins aren't super large so you can't really move them around with the angle, but that doesn't seem to even make a difference since it keeps the temperature in my 15' x 15' room nicely even during Florida's heat waves. Yeah, i guess. Additionally, I bought two shirts, so you can see that I bought two One window is in my adjacent room, and the other one is in the room next to it. On the outside, the windows are within several feet of one another, and they are separated by a wall on the inside. During my testing of both remotes I haven't had any issues with them accidentally altering settings on the other machine. I am very satisfied with them.

There is no plausible way to replicate the performance of a GE air conditioner so well. Besides not having a panel to give us excess to the filter, the design is not very well considered. Although it is designed for a small window, the filter slides out to the right as you look at the air conditioner, leaving no place for the filter to be removed. You really need to be careful with this knock-off.

The temperature is not going to cool much to high expectations. You can't deny that it cools. I can confirm that all features are working and looking As a result, I have a sofa bed 4 feet away from it in my living room. On HI speed, cooling is turned on, and the thermostat is set to 65 degrees. The warmth of a large living room keeps it from getting cold. When used in an 11x10 room with doors shut, however, it will be more useful. However, if you have an open kitchen layout in your living room, then this item will not fit the bill. If you are living in Florida or another hot, tropical climate, you should choose a BTU rating two times as high as this.

There is nothing to complain about I'm pleased to report that everything works properly. Still, it isn't making the living room feel This is probably an air conditioner for a bedroom. It took a long time to install this. Since it couldn't be drilled into the wall with a power drill, no screws were used to attach the pieces, so I just screwed the parts in connection with the screws and closed the window.

No one threw them out even after we searched everywhere. In the Guide, the widths are only provided for the length - so I had to purchase all widths at a hardware store. Because if they were included, then you wouldn't have to worry about anything! I would appreciate getting a credit for $10 for the screws and my time.
