The packaging was not damaged and appeared to be intact. One of our rental units now has the unit. It was first reported that the blower motor was not working. After the unit was removed, we brought it back to our shop to see what was causing it to fail. After the next day, our tenant called and reported that the compressor started, but then shut off after 5 minutes and blew hot air after that. The LG customer service rep gave us a date to service the unit on Friday, 05/29, along with a reference number after spending 30 minutes on the phone. The LG representative has not contacted me about rescheduling it as of the time of writing this review, and I find it hard to believe they waited two days to let me know the unit could not be serviced. In the near future, I will be buying another unit and returning the current one!.

Indescribably awful. There is no way it can be imagined how low LG has stooped with its product quality. The product has so many defects where must I even begin. When I turn on the air conditioner, a loud stuttering noise appears and gets worse within a minute of turning it on. The sign for the AC is proclaiming that the filter is clean after it was installed about two weeks ago. It has been used maybe 4 hours since then. There is nothing funny about this remote control. Getting in touch with LG customer support is not as straightforward as it might seem!.

The machine made a horrible racket when it was turned on and failed to cool down. The company sent a technician to repair the machine. Despite the fact that it was in the wall, he didn't remove it. It just walked away without saying anything. There is nothing I can do about In order to send another repairman, LG was supposed to send another technician. Only two short summers in Michigan were successful with the product. There are now really loud noises coming from the machine that make it impossible for anyone to talk. Incredibly difficult to get a hold of and not very helpful was the customer service team. There are no repair shops that work on wall air conditioners that they sent me to. There is no need for this product to be purchased.

A few people might not be pleased with how much the unit sticks out from the wall sleeve. My expectations were that the new unit would be quieter than the 30 year old one, but alas that is not to be the case. With the remote, I don't have to get up to shut off the unit after temperature has been reached. However, the unit cycles on and off only once the temperature has been reached, which is a bit annoying. Or it may be in the design of the unit or in the location it is located in. Despite the sealed box being opened and resealed, the unit arrived damaged. We couldn't contact the UPS worker because he dropped it at the end of the drive way and he took off before we were able to.

Did not enjoy it at all.
