This wall unit required a 115v power supply. The TV in my living room is in a quiet area so I wanted one that was quiet. I like this one! Besides looking great, it also sounds great. An electrician had to be hired for the installation. It was not an easy job, but with the trim included the unit is more attractive. Although I thought it was expensive, I feel as if it was a quality unit that is sure to last for a very long time. I would recommend this for those in need of a through-the-wall air conditioner. For an air conditioner that is very loud. In 3 days, I will be on the porch. This is the last of the first class deals. However, it did not work after it was installed. It is a very loud air conditioner, I have to say. This is the most disappointing thing that has happened to me.
