(Congratulations to Amazon! The package arrived in perfect condition. The consequences are It is impossible to operate the entire unit without colliding with the thermal insulation, barring horizontal tile installation. In order to keep the fan from making a terrible noise, it must contact the insulation directly. As a result, I have a unit that is crooked to one side. During operation, the fan (when not touching) does produce more noise than other models, but the cooling is very fast and the system is well insulated as well. We weren't able to receive technical support, advice or comments, even after a phone call advising us to email the technical support team. A lot of emails were sent in the last two weeks but no response was received.

There is very little noise generated by the unit

It's very efficient. The unit is extremely quiet. It is far and away the quietest in my home, and the GE it replaced was also very quiet. There is an installation through the wall for my unit. I believe it's slightly oversized for the square feet. I don't know about the rest of the room, but this thing cools incredibly fast. Despite the caveat, there is a catch. It doesn't seem that the thermostat is accurate at all, at least on my unit. A setting of 75 prevents it from turning on and it does not allow the compressor to run The program will stop if the value is The Technical support loop has not yet been completed, so I have not heard back from Friedrich.

This is a very well built air conditioner

The unit is well built, and I'm glad I bought it over a less expensive one. By using the Enclosure Sleeve that comes with it, installation of a wall unit is My favorite feature is being able to program the time for the light to come on and off. Despite having the fan on low, it is still a little louder than I would have liked, but I have been able to sleep with it on low, even on autofan, which cycles on and off during the night.

Friedrich provides another great air conditioner for your room. The Friedrich Air Conditioner I own is my sixth. It has been a good year so far. In the 19 years since they were last used, two of them died. Both of them were replaced with the 8000 BTU model, and I am quite satisfied with their replacement.

This model does not have Wi-Fi capability

It's unclear what this all means, but I bought it, along with the wifi connection kit and No sockets are available for plugging in the wifi kit. Upon calling Friedrich, he responded, "Oh yes, of course. ". "On a model like that, you cannot do it". Amazon gave me some money back for the a/c and I sent the wifi kit back, but it was a very disappointing experience. It was not what I had in mind.

It maintains my room's temperature with plenty of power to spare. I think this is a very good translation. Cools my room with a lot of power left over, and I have almost 600 square feet of room to spare. However, in the winter it is hard to close it up because there are four indoor vents on each side except for The part that meets the sleeve at the bottom is also somewhat difficult to plug in.

My favorite part of this AC unit is the remote control

My favorite part of this AC unit is the remote control. I love how quiet it is, but this cools so quickly, and the digital controls make it so easy to regulate. Having the option to set the fan to auto or continuous is awesome. The light stays on all night so I do not wake up when it shuts off and comes back on in the middle of the night.
