It's delivered completely assembled, including wheels. There were no dings or scratches due to the careful packaging. It's a sturdy metal cabinet that doesn't topple over when the top drawer is pulled out. Even though the drawers are fully extended, it does not tip. It comes with a lock and key, which I have yet to use. It was simple to remove from the box and transport to my office. br>br>If you're torn between saving a few bucks and investing in this one, spend the extra cash here. I was hoping for a two-bedroom apartment. I needed a drawer locking cabinet that was sturdy and stable enough to last a long time, and it had to fit snugly under the upper section of my two-story house. desk with a flat surface I'd seen cheaper models and, of course, many more at higher prices, but this one had decent reviews, so I decided to take a chance. It's just what I was looking for. It arrived on time and in perfect condition, as promised. First and foremost - the shipping and handling Any damage would have to come from a direct hit on the side. Very well guarded - It's hard for me to believe that anyone got this damaged. If that's the case, it had to happen while the person was being transported. br>Once it's unpacked, all you have to do is admire the structure and how it glides along on its wheels. The drawers are full extension (which is more expensive - see below). However, not having space inside the drawer that you can't use is well worth it. ) Opening the drawers is simple because each drawer has a pull-open area at the very top. I would buy it again if I had the opportunity.

Despite my concerns about packaging and handling damage, the item arrived in perfect condition. It's compatible with my Viewables® Quick-Release System. Tabs should be folded. Labels. Only one design flaw is that the drawer's first file folder can become stuck in a tiny gap on the drawer side frame and cannot be slid out unless it is pulled up. In a design studio, who would think of that? I'll use the tape to repair it!.

This file cabinet has let me down big time. I bought it after reading a lot of good things about it, but now I'm wondering if poor quality is what we've come to expect as consumers. First, despite being well packaged, it arrived dented on the side in two places. It's flimsy, and the drawers are prone to becoming stuck. They are not easily slid. The drawer front pieces, as well as the cabinet itself, are out of alignment (apparently because the screw holes were not drilled in the proper location). It's something I'd like to get back. My wife does not want to go through the hassle of returning it and having to buy a new file cabinet, so I may keep it. That's probably a score for Hirsh (which is why I gave it two stars instead of one). We'll probably keep it in a closet because she thinks these things don't matter because it's a filing cabinet and not furniture. Given these flaws, I would have expected it to cost half as much as it did, and I would have been happy to keep it if that was the case. I've attached a photo to demonstrate the dent and drawer alignment; please accept my apologies for the poor quality of the photo. I was expecting an apology for the poor quality of the file cabinet.
