Because of this, the table top's maximum load capacity is 176 lbs (80 kg), and each shelf's maximum load capacity is 88 lbs (40 kg).
Yes, there is a lip that extends nearly an inch beyond the edge of the table. There is only 11" of clearance, according to my measurements. I suppose you could put the microwave in before screwing it all together!
The height of the top shelf is 11 inches. The bottom shelf stands at a height of 12 inches. I have no idea what the maximum weight is. On my bottom shelf, I have between 10 and 15 pounds.
Both the feet and the wheels on the cart are lockable. The wheels add about 34 inches to the height. It's a high-quality cart with a lot of sturdiness.

This purchase has made me extremely happy. It's built to last and has plenty of storage. Although the veneer isn't real wood, it's very nice and even textured. There are no issues!.
Based on the reviews for stability, we bought this cart to use with a home freeze dryer. After putting the cart together, I discovered two issues. The first is that the included wheel wrench does not fit the nuts; it works fine at first, but when you apply pressure to finish screwing the wheels down, it slips off - This is basically useless because it happens every time. Because the space between the nut and the bottom of the cart is so small, a traditional crescent wrench will not fit. That was a source of irritation. To get in there, I had to use needle-nose vice grips. br>The second point of concern for me is a major one. After assembly, the cart is skewed to the point where I wouldn't feel comfortable putting a costly freeze dryer on it. I can see it crashing to the ground because the cart broke down. br>Overall, it's attractive, but I doubt it will hold up to serious weight (60 pounds) for an extended period of time, so it was a waste of money for me.
I started by screwing in the first leg after spending 30 minutes opening the box and carefully laying out and counting all of the pieces. Unfortunately, as I shifted the top with the leg attached to install the other legs, the first leg ripped out of the wood sideways, ripping out the embedded set screws with it. This is the last time I'll buy from them. It's all pulp in this wood.
This stance was instrumental in saving the day. Now I never have to move my rice cooker, crock pot, or stand mixer to use them. I have an electric kettle and a burr grinder underneath the tray, which is the perfect height for holding my teas. br>br>It took about 30 minutes for one person to assemble. The picture instructions are simple to follow and include both a wall-mounted and a floor-mounted version. spare parts and a tether (to keep it from tipping over if a child climbed it)! The manufacturer put a lot of thought into the design, assembly, and utility of this product. br>br>I'm very happy with it!.
Horrible wheels. The table is very sturdy. The other reviews were correct in their assessments of the wheels' poor performance. Instead of rolling on the floor, they simply drag. We purchased replacement caster wheels from our local Lowe's. The shelves weren't the right height for what we needed, so we drilled new holes, and it now works perfectly for what we needed it for (indoor grill and air fryer).
This unit was purchased to house my tower computer. The top shelf was supposed to be made of real wood, but it wasn't. When I got the unit, I discovered it was just a wood laminate glued to a composite. br>2. Instead of using the wheels, I chose this unit over the darker stained version because it was supposed to come with feet that I could screw into the bottom. The feet were missing from the package. I even called the company to ask if it would include feet, and they said yes.
3. When I was putting this unit together, I noticed that many of the bolts and nuts did not have the same thread, preventing them from working together. Eight bolts and nuts out of a total of 24 will not screw together. To make sure the bolts work, I'll have to go to the hardware store and buy some new ones.
4. There are two wire mesh shelves on which you can store extra items. When I put my hand on them to test how strong they are, I noticed that they are quite sharp, and that with just a little pressure, the welds that keep the mesh attached to the frame were starting to come apart, so I had to go back to the hardware store and buy shelving material to cover the mesh to make it stronger and to protect myself and my belongings from the sharpness of the shelves. Overall, I kept the shelves because I needed something and didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning them, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. I was really hoping for this unit to work, and I was really looking forward to it, but it's just been a series of disappointments.
Despite being primarily made of metal, this cart is sturdy but not overly so; Although the topmost shelf is not made of solid wood, it appears to be so. I will say that by tightening the screws, I basically stripped the little tool, so in future orders, I'd like to see a more sturdy tool, but it served its purpose. Just don't plan on using it for another assembly. br>After discovering this little gem on Amazon and reading the many positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. If this thing can stand still in our library/music room for over a year as a portable desk in an elementary classroom, I figured it could stand still in our library/music room as well. br>I chose to ride in a wheel chair. Less based on other reviews claiming that the wheels were broken. We didn't need this cart to be portable in the first place because our needs were so specific. I would, however, buy this cart again if I needed a portable cart. However, because our cart sits half on an area rug and half on the wood floor (another reason I chose to go wheel-less), the option to use adjustable "feet" instead was extremely useful. less). The "feet" can be tightened to the desired height by screwing them into each of the four corners of the base. By doing this, I was able to get my cart perfectly level in no time. If you're thinking about buying this cart, I strongly advise you to do so.
We attempted to reinstall the screws with superglue but were unsuccessful. I'm hoping for a refund because of the poor quality. br>br>As of February 25th, After submitting photos of the defect, Amazon sent a replacement unit, which took about 20 minutes to install and looks fantastic. It was incredibly easy to assemble and will look great in our dining room.
