Questions & Answers
Yes, each leg has one screw that secures it to the underside of the stool seat (there are four in total). I believe the legs are also glued, making it possible to remove the screws, but this would be at the expense of safety.
I'm 5'5", so the 18-inch height is perfect for our small breakfast table. It's fine for a meal, but I wouldn't sit and read for long periods of time on a stool.

The 18-inch-high stool was purchased. It's an excellent small stool.
Well- It's well-made, sturdy, and attractive, and it's suitable for a wide range of applications. br>I bought it for our mudroom because it's the ideal height for sitting and putting on and taking off shoes. br>It's a good thing I purchased it.
Perfect 18" stool, exactly what I was looking for and hoped to receive. Based on some of the comments, it was determined that the stool would have straighter legs than those depicted in the product image, rather than the angled or spread legs shown. br>The stool legs are indeed straight, which suits my needs perfectly. It fits perfectly behind my writing table desk in my office, where I use it to hold a wire crate of files that I need to access on a regular basis. My wire crate fits perfectly on the stool. br>Because of the straight legs, the stool's height is ideal, and the amount of space it takes up is minimal. In this case, spread, angled legs would have been ineffective. br>And the wood is lovely, solid, pale, and smooth, with no snags or unsanded splintery areas. It's lovely to touch, and it's lovely to look at. br>I couldn't have asked for a more appropriate stool for my needs. Anyone who isn't looking for a stool that can support a lot of weight should consider this.
Note that it is unfinished wood, so if you use it as a plant stand, you must use a tray underneath any pot with holes in the bottom, or the wood will be ruined. It would also work well as a small side table. It's fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box.
The stool that was delivered was not the same as the stool that was displayed. For stability, the legs are spread. such as the one I already have. Legs are straight up when they are given to you. down- The stool is shaky and frequently topples over.
I wanted something adaptable because I like to switch up my decor from time to time. When I first saw this stool, I fell in love with it! I'm currently using it as a plant stand, but it could also be used as a stool for my kitchen bar downstairs or when I'm painting. This stool will be used for a variety of purposes.
The legs and seat of my stool were finished in a very smooth manner. There's no play in the legs at all, so it's very solid. The feet on the stool I received were not as far apart as they appeared in the photo. That's fine; it's just a point of observation. I just spray painted mine black and use it as a guitar practice bench. It appeals to me. It's sturdy and capable of supporting hundreds of pounds. On a flat surface, there is a slight leg wobble, but not enough for me to bother fixing it.
It's a sturdy piece of unfinished Vietnamese furniture. On the seat's edges, there are a few rough spots. Because it was handcrafted, there were a few nicks. I had to sand the nicks down to 100 grit before finishing with 220 grit. After removing the dust with a tack cloth, four layers of wipe-on polyurethane were applied. The end result was fantastic. Because I use it in the bathroom, I had to coat it in several layers of protection. It can also be used as a step stool. It's a good product, but it's a little pricey for an unfinished one.
br>br>The width/height ratio is also ideal, which is why I bought them in the first place. Because the majority of the other stools were either vanity stools that were far too short, or 22-inch stools that were far too tall. It was nearly impossible to find a 16" or 18" stool that wasn't plastic and super crappy, or nice but overly expensive, that wasn't plastic and super crappy. It took me an eternity, which is why I had to wait so long for this one. And I'm so glad I did because they're adorable and sturdy, as well as the ideal size and height! They're also ready to use. As a result, there was no need for any installation, which was a huge plus. br>br>To be honest, I'm surprised I had the patience to wait almost two months for these stools, but I'm so glad I did! 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking for the ideal wooden stool that isn't too high and can accommodate a large person. (i. a table/counter 28" or smaller)br>br>Also, when they were finally back in stock, they shipped and delivered fairly quickly! So that's an added bonus. If I need another, I might be tempted to buy another, haha. And, for the most part, the cost is justified by the quality. I believe it is possible that it will cost between $8 and $10. Because it's nothing special and the wood is unfinished, it's $10 less expensive, but that could just be me being frugal. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and believe that my money was well spent!.
