It seems that we have a lot of different answers to this question ranging from yes, to no, In order to be clear, allow me to elaborate. Bed frames that are designed specifically for adjustable frames are not compatible with this There are several reasons for this, but one of the most important factors is that the side panels are made of two pieces that are attached together by an inner frame and some wood slats, which ensure everything is The only way to get it to work without that inner frame and slats is to do some customizations. Even so, you shouldn't expect them to be as stable as what most of these reviews claim. At least according to me, there are three steps to customizing 2) remove the lip that holds the slats in place, and 1) purchase brackets to bind the two halves of each side panel. With no middle support for your adjustable base, you end up with a frame without any place for your adjustable base to sit. It's important to make sure that the mattress platform of the adjustable base sits higher than the frame itself so as to avoid putting too much pressure on the somewhat fragile frame you're left with after customizing the base (most adjustable bases can be adjusted to have higher legs). It might work for us with customizations, but without an inner frame to make the core as stable, and the base as sturdy as it was designed to be, what we are left with is a frame that is likely to last just a fraction of the time it is

Although the bed took only the two of us a short time to assemble, it was fairly easy. Maybe a peel off sticker would help to identify what goes where, but that's the only thing I can think of. In spite of the weight we are carrying between us being over 500 pounds, we can still stand up to it comfortably. It does not squeak, move, or break at all, regardless of how vigorous the adult activity is. This is an awesome bed frame, and it is also very stylish.

It's amazing how comfortable this bed is. During adult activities, my boyfriend and I actually broke our last bed so I desperately wanted a new bed that would support two thin people in pound town. Unfortunately, we broke ours during adult activities, so I had to find something that could support two skinny people. The reviews on this bed made me hesitant to purchase one on Amazon (after reading all of the reviews about the beds not being supportive, having bed bugs, etc. ) but after reading the reviews for this one, I decided to give it a shot. Putting it together was very easy (I let my man do most of the work, but it didn't look particularly difficult) and it feels really sturdy, even after a trip or two to the pound. I absolutely love it and so does my boyfriend. I just love how high it is. *wink, wink* And it even leaves enough space underneath for some storage. This is a recommendation I would highly.
When you think about it too much, don't waste your time and just buy it. (Advice from a libra = being I assembled it in about an hour, it was easy.
