There was a problem with the slats in the bed. They had split and were breaking. Those were laid on top of the ones that were still intact, and they added extra It was a huge improvement in sleep quality and how the mattress felt for our guest who occasionally stays there. Our house guest said it was so easy to open the box and lay out the board. The room looks like it has a new bed in it.

You cannot rely on these at all! There are several types of bunkie boards, all of which are solid pieces of plywood or particleboard There is no solidity to these

A fabric cover is attached to the bed slats. This bed frame has large gaps between the slats and will not provide solid support. I bought these to support a bed from sleep number, but they will not hold up. We need a sturdy base for our mattress, and these seemed like a great choice. But nowhere in the description does it mention that these are weak, so buyers.

An easy assembly is required There is one complaint, though, which is that the boards move independently from each other so sometimes one board is forward while the other is back but that does not affect comfort or stability, and as long as you cover the boards with a thick comforter or bed skirt, you shouldn't notice it.
