I like it because it's solid, not squeaky like some and feels well built. I bought a Cal King and the price was significantly below what I could find at The foundation was delivered in just over a week and is a split foundation (two pieces) for ease of movement.
me a while to make my decision because there were a lot of poor reviews for bunkie boards in general. Our platform bed worked perfectly with this and it serves the purpose. Some of the mid-support slats on this platform appear to be of questionable quality. This caused our mattress to sag in places as the slats moved. Bunkie beds for kings come in two pieces and have given us much better bed support without the need to raise it the full height of a standard To anyone who struggles with the same issues with cheap beds, I highly recommend this product.
Great price and great quality. Bed in the size of a Cal King. I was very happy with the price and the results! As my bed was too high, it allowed me to remove the 5inch boxes that I had and now my bed is at the perfect height. It was on in January, but I wanted to wait to review it however, I now have time to do so We should still be able to make it in March. Since her bed frame was too high for her to get in and out of, and there were wheels that would roll a little on the hardwood floor, we decided to take the wheels off of it. We pondered this option and chose this one from Amazon after some hewing and hawing. Generally speaking, bunkie boards (in the end) squeak and creak based on the reviews I've read. There haven't been any comments about that happening to these, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen. The purpose was to remove my box springs and lower the total height of my bed, which I was able to do despite my height. One thing that surprised me was the poorly done workmanship with the IKEA unit I unpacked. There was a significant amount of fabric loose around the edges this was due to poor and uneven stapling. The issue doesn't affect functionality, therefore I was willing to overlook it, however I was surprised because this had never been brought up before. My overall impression of the purchase is good and I hope the boots hold up.
