Questions & Answers
Would you mind if I asked you how you read that? As it moves up the strip, it changes from red to maroon and then to black. Can I only read the topmost red temperature, or can I also read the topmost maroon temperature?
It is red when the temperature is high
How long should I keep Kombucha at a certain temperature?
For faster fermentation, 86F, 88F, and 90F are the ideal temperatures.
Could I wash the jar they'll be adhered to if these are water resistant? Or should they be removed before washing?
The sides of one gallon of water have two of these attached to them They come in jars of varying sizes. These shoes have been hand washed a number of times and are still in great shape. It wouldn't be a good idea to put them in the dishwasher.
In order for the adhesive to function, must it be applied (stuck)? Two of them are on the counter, and one is in a bag. Why doesn't it read a clear temperature?
It is a necessity that the thermometer be "stuck" to the side of the aquarium glass if it is to be used for checking the water temperature. In order to avoid a water droplet formation on the substate line, I apply mine horizontally near the bottom of the tank under the outermost layer.

They were the perfect items for my new saltwater tank, which I wanted something obscure but also easy to see
I am impressed! They were the perfect items for my new saltwater tank, which I wanted something obscure but also easy to see. didn't want to change batteries or suction one in place, nor did I want to worry about mercury. Because most fishkeepers will tell you that a digital thermometer is most definitely the best thermometer to use, I was slightly skeptic that they would work. When I applied this product to the side of my tank, I watched the temperature rise to 78 degrees in a matter of seconds. I have set the preset heater temperature at that amount. There's a lot of accuracy in it.

An aquarium is not an accurate representation
To monitor the temperature of my reef aquarium and to see how well the heater controlled it, I installed these on the aquarium. room temperature is 66 F, but the tank is 78 F. This is a problem because the temperature in the tank and in the room are about the same. This thermometer reads about 74 Fahrenheit when I put it on the outside of the glass, which makes it not very accurate for measuring the temperature of This issue appears to be caused by the fact that the outside glass temperature isn't always the same as that In any case, I bought a floating thermometer, which is much better since it directly measures the water temperature without taking into account the.

You hit the nail on the head with your The thermometers stick flat to the tank itself, so I don't have to worry about my ball python pulling them off if they accidentally fall This terrarium has been keeping perfect temperatures so far, and my digital thermometer has tracked the same thing
Aside from that, I also like the vibrant red markings that make reading this easy. So far, I have one of these stuck on the side of the terrarium under a ceramic heat emitter, and the adhesive backing hasn't been affected by the heat. Reptile keepers who are worried about the adhesive should not be. It does an incredibly good job. Eventually, once I upgrade my snake terrarium, I will absolutely have to make another purchase. Prarie Essentials is awesome! Thanks so much!.

My needs are met by the right range and size The unit is easy to assemble and My EcoSphere is monitored by this to keep track of its temperature
There is a temperature range of 58-70 degrees on this thermometer In terms of temperature, the Sphere should be kept between 60 and 88 degrees F There are 80 degrees outside. Despite its small size, this is small enough to place around the Sphere for checking, and it is removeable so it does not have to stay in place all the time. It is easy to read, and it appears to be accurate enough, though I have not yet tested I like the price and the fact that it can do what I need This is a quick read that can be picked up and put down at any time.

Make sure that the temperature of your brew is right
The Kombucha starter kit is a great purchase if you're making Kombucha. It wasn't until I killed a scoby that I realized the importance of constant heat monitoring. These did not come off when I washed my gallon jars. I enjoyed reading it very much and found it to be well worth the price.

It is easy to read, simple to understand, and accurate

We recommend that you do not purchase this product
These thermometers definitely don't provide any sort of accurate temperature reading - not even close. I'm not sure if I received a defective unit. Currently, it is showing approximately 76 degrees while the digital therm is currently showing 70, and the outdoor thermometer is currently reading 68 degrees. As of yet, the company has not replied to my inquiries. These are even unlikely to be made in the United States. It would be great if they noticed and started a refund since I am very unhappy. Instead of buying, go with a better alternative if you're fermenting or culture.

This thermometer is good for sticking on clothes
Stick on thermometers that are easy to read. In order to monitor the temperature of my kombucha when it is brewing, I use these thermometers. Honestly, I wouldn't let them be used on anything critical, but if you want to know if the temperature is within a range, then these are easy to read and handy.
