This straw can be cut, you can definitely do it. Their length gives you the ability to cut them to any size that you desire. It's a great straw, I like it a lot.

however a piece of silicone flew into my mouth and caused me to choke when I used it for the first time. It was a round silicone disc (the exact size of the straw's interior) that was stuck inside the straw and I had no idea what it was. A soap and water solution was used for cleaning the straw with the provided straw cleaner. In other words, the disc must have been pushed and pulled inside the straw, but it never came loose. During the drinking process, the drink flew into the back of my throat and I choked on the straw that ended up being an extra! Before you use a straw, make sure you check it inside! I especially recommend doing this before letting kids use it.

I found these to taste and smell very chemically upon first use, and it was a very strange feeling to use Paper straws were very soft and weak, and didn't feel sturdy like plastics or new/unused/not yet disintegrated plastic straws. The design of these held its shape, but I was not able to avoid the sensation of it being too soft when I used it. I was unable to break up ice pieces which had melted together in my cup due to this unforeseeable disadvantage. The bottom line is you can't really use it to stir your drink (e. g.
