I was using a different brand that was constantly leaking. Even when weight is applied, these are super sturdy with NO LEEKAGE. NO PRODUCT WAS LOST BY ME. From now on, this will be my go-to brand!.
It's thick and fills easily. It comes with a funnel, but I didn't use it because I didn't need it to fill it. It has two large holes for the pouch and small holes on the sides for the straw. It's very useful! My vinyl stayed put on the pouch with ease. Last week, I drank from it, and there was no "plastic" taste! It's a steal for the price, durability, and quantity it provides! I'd buy it again, but it comes with so many that I'm not sure I'll need to for a few more parties!.
This is my first time doing something like this, so I'm hoping these pouches turn out well. I tried one last night and found that I could drink the smoothie with the straw that came with it; I didn't need a larger straw.
They are tightly sealed, the straws are individually wrapped, and there is a designated straw space (under the seal) so you don't have to open the pouch to use the straw. Other similar products do not have a designated place for the straw, which I appreciate. br> The straws were cut on an angle on one end but were not bendable, which was not a big deal for me. The funnel isn't required, but it does help with organization. I did notice some loose plastic along the seal, which will get into your drinks if you don't rinse them out first; they're logo free, so you can add your own labels or logos; however, they do have a fill line, which is the only reason I didn't give them a five-star rating. For business reasons, I'd rather they didn't have it. Aside from that, I adore them.
My kids love the KetoChow shaker bottles, but they always lose them or, worse, find them later. ugh. They were recommended to me, and we placed an order. I was worried they'd be too small because I like a lot of water, but they fit my 2 TBSP butter, 16 oz. water, and 1 scoop of KC perfectly. To make mine a little fluffy, I vitamix the butter and 1 cup water first, then add the rest in cold water in the vitamix. I discovered that I should do the secondary mixing on low in these so that it doesn't fluff up the whole thing and everything fits together. Before I could close the first one, I had to pour it and let it set for a few hours. They're reusable and fairly sturdy, certainly more so than a ziploc. I can't say how many times I'll use them just yet, but I'll let you know when I do. For the price, it's well worth my time, especially since I've gone through far too many containers. But, in addition to hand washing, I'll try some in the dishwasher and report back. These were 16 cents for a pouch and straw, so even if they aren't reused, they aren't a bad deal. They fit perfectly in the fridge and sat up perfectly tall. In any case, YAY! I'm thinking about putting some stevia drinks in here, as well as some kid-friendly drinks. I'm not sure why they put a funnel in there. In my opinion, it's absurd. It was simple to make it tall by spreading the bottom out and then holding it open with one hand while pouring from my Vitamix with the other. What exactly is the purpose of the funnel? If I were to use a funnel, I'd choose a larger one that would sit more comfortably.
These are amazing bags. They were used in my smoothies. The only issue was that in order to use the straws, I had to open the package. Aside from that, they're tough, durable, and perfect for freezing and bringing smoothies to work. They're small, so I don't have to deal with bulky cups or bottles.
I wish the straw had its own designated spot. Instead, a small section of the bag must be unzipped. Aside from that, the bags are well-made and I enjoy using them.
I occasionally make JJ Smith smoothies and used to despise the bulkiness of the containers. My best friend had bought some and recommended them to me, and I'm glad I did. When I'm done, I can precisely measure out my smoothies into each pouch, rinse them, and recycle them. They've never exploded in my lunch bag, and they're extremely tough! Everyone at work wants to know where I got them, and when I told them how much they were, they all placed orders. These should definitely be purchased! You will not be sorry.
