However, it is not excellent. This appears to be in good working order. made, feels solid, and has a very stylish appearance. The removable insert is a nice touch, but keep in mind that it's the perfect size to throw away in your garbage disposal. Please believe me when I say that. br>br>I don't need the other three items that come with it; They are both unnecessary and undesirable in my opinion. One of the unnecessary items is a tiny, tiny spoon that is only useful when you want to feel like a giant. Those tiny minibar bottles of vodka, on the other hand, accomplish the same goal while also making you far more amusing. br>br>However, there are two problems with the garlic press: br>br>For starters, it's a tad too small for daily use. That's all there is to it. You'll only need a small clove to fit in the press. To get enough garlic in any recipe that calls for it, you'll have to use it several times. On Amazon, there's a bigger version of this, which I'm sure I'll end up buying instead. Second, the moving parts of this are riveted together and appear to be excessively loose. They could be much tighter while still working perfectly. As a result, the press feels like one you've had for decades and is about to break down; I'm not saying this tool will break down any time soon; I'm just saying it feels like it might. br>br>So, all-in-all, All in all, it's not a bad little garlic press; however, if you cook frequently, I'd recommend getting the larger version (this one is only a few dollars, and the larger one is only a few dollars more). Also, don't buy it solely for the purpose of getting the teeny-tiny spoon; Standing on a box will make you feel like a colossus as well.
Garlic peeler is completely ineffective. It's simple to use a garlic press. There's only a small amount of garlic that isn't minced. The brush for cleaning the removable metal basket in which the garlic was minced is extremely useful. It quickly and easily removes garlic pieces lodged in the holes. br>It's pointless to have a garlic peeler. At least, that's how I feel. I put a clove in the tube and rolled it around, increasing the pressure, but the clove remained intact. Peeler was thrown out. br>I haven't used the spoon in a very long time. The garlic is easily removed, and any stuck pieces can be removed with the brush. br>The press completes the task quickly and efficiently. It performs much better than I had anticipated. It's fairly simple to clean.
br>It feels heavy and solid. I like how the press/plunger swivels to a large degree and is quite sturdy, easily pressing two large garlic cloves, unlike my old one, which had a broken handle. br>It was fairly simple to clean. It's as simple as taking out the press cup and placing it upside down under running water to clear it. br>It's fantastic for the money!.
I've owned a number of garlic presses, the majority of which have either broken or failed to perform as expected. This one is well worth the money because it is sturdy, I can easily mince my garlic, clean it out with the small spoon, and the liner makes cleaning the device a breeze. br>It's a definite must-have!.
I like garlic, but I despise peeling it and the stench it leaves on my hands. This is the most effective tool we've used so far! I immediately put it to use and was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was to operate and clean up.
The only reason it didn't get five stars is that it didn't feel as if it was well-made. However, I've used it a few times now and am pleased with it.
My previous one was smashed, but this one is better built and has performed admirably thus far.
I've never used a better garlic press.
