Wow. I purchased this item months ago specifically for the silicone peeler, and I figured the press would be a nice bonus. I wasn't expecting much because it appeared to be cheap. Since using the garlic press, I haven't used the silicone peeler at all. It does a fantastic job! Garlic should not be in large chunks. It completely eliminates garlic in the most satisfying and efficient way possible. When I use my other press, the garlic that comes out is much finer. It's a pain to clean, especially if you don't get to it right away. You'll need some hot water to help you rinse the garlic skin that's left. Despite the fact that the press appears to be cheap, it is well worth it in terms of quality. For your garlic press, get this item. With the silicone peeler, you can do whatever you want. I just don't think I need it right now, given how good the press is.
I swear I got garlic stuck between my toes, and the stench drove me insane! This product was discovered on smile. amazon, and I'm so glad I bought it! I did throw out the blue rubber thing that came with it because it smelled bad, but the garlic press itself is fantastic! It was incredibly simple to use, and it made cooking with fresh garlic a breeze!.
I don't have to peel my garlic to squish it in this bad boy anymore. It's hefty and powerful. The construction is of excellent quality. So, peeling or not peeling - that is the question. It doesn't matter if you call or not; with this garlic press, it doesn't make a difference!.
3 garlic cloves are enough to make the meat smell rotten. Surprisingly, when I use my force to squeeze out the garlic, it remains very stable, and the garlic is fine enough to blend in with the meat. I dug out the remaining bits with chopsticks before washing to make things easier. Overall, this works well as a dipping sauce.
My previous one had passed away some time ago. I'm overjoyed to have one again, and this one is far superior to the one I previously had. I've had it for years, and it's very easy to clean. I wish I had been able to get in years ago.
I bought this for my mother, who says it's a lot more sturdy and heavy than the garlic press she broke recently. She was delighted with it, particularly the "bonus" peel remover and brush. This garlic press appealed to me because of the positive reviews, the reasonable price, and the fact that it came with a peeler and brush. For the money, it's a good deal.
This crushes garlic thoroughly while keeping the skin intact. It is, however, losing its luster inside the reservoir, where the garlic is kept. I'm not sure how well it will age.
I bought it with the intention of using it for ginger. Ginger is more difficult to work with than garlic, for example. It has the same effect on ginger as it does on garlic. I adore it, and my new garlic/ginger press is perfect for me.
