The sliding lid of these boxes doesn't close tightly when I try to close them for camping. Using your spices from a regular kitchen will lead to a drying out of the spices. As soon as we returned home from our trip, we packed our shaker. After we received our garlic powder and chili powder on Saturday morning, my wife and I chipped them out with a knife. We wrapped them in saran wrap to prevent spills, but that didn't prevent them from clumping together in transit. The product is cheap, Chinese garbage, so it is a great idea, but it is not a good product.

For spices and other things like espresso powder, these are great as they don't require an entire spice bottle. These labels gave my spices a professional look, then I added labels using my label maker, and they were so awesome that I bought more, considering storing my extra spices in other jars and combining all my spices.

We filled it out since we were headed out of town. Due to the lid not clicking on, I taped it shut for the flight. We were trying to salt some oven fries when the whole lid got blown off and we lost all the salt. Based on the other review, I agree with this one as well- This could have been a good resource, but it wasn't useful in the end.

Then, I used it and I knew it wasn't what we wanted. With the weight of the spices behind it, the top (that was securely attached) fell off. It was a mess since we lost all of the spices in every compartment. This was a very disappointing experience for me. The bag is not sealed and it is not suitable for high humidity environments, so we felt it was a total failure when we took it It is easy for spices to clump together.

A second purchase was made. I have them in my camping kit so that I can use them while I am There is a slight tendency for a "tiny" bit of spice to leak out when I shake it in my kitchen. This could be due to the slider being used to close one opening another, and the slider needs to sit exactly right to close completely Or I just have powdery spices that somehow manage to escape.

They are great for RVs, so I bought two. Their functionality is good, visibility is great, and they are space savers as well. As soon as I made the spice blends, I used a label on each chamber so I knew what I had put in them. A few drawbacks They are not big enough to stay put for very long, and a rub goes away There are a lot of holes in the shaker so dispensing is limited. I prefer to remove the lids and pinch out what I need.

It's a great little spice jar. As long as it holds 4 types, I like it. Their durability makes them a good choice. In camping and outings, they are used to cook barbecues. As a precaution, I ended up running a rubber band around the lid to ensure it would stay closed getting bounced around.
