Questions & Answers

Handles on oxo always turned into sticky messes in the past, the results were never pleasant Can these also do the same thing?

Oxo products are a few I have used, and I have never experienced this. As far as weight, surface, and heft are concerned, I'm happy with this product. A good mallet is not one that is wimpy.

What size wide mouth canning jar does this fit in?

As of now, I do not have a canning jar to test it, but maybe measurements will work. A 2-inch wide portion of the head makes up the widest part of the body A half-inch by a one It is 3". If you have cardboard that size, you might be able to fit a piece in it

This product has a 90 degree corner on the bottom edge or is there a smooth transition so that the meat is not cut or torn?

By looking at the picture, you can't tell that mine has a covering. Teflon isn't what I think it is, it seems more like

We are very satisfied with our purchase
5/5

I am sooooo glad I got this one, instead of the aluminum one In terms of comfort and ease of use, the handle is much more comfortable and the tool is much heavier, requiring fewer swings, and tore up meat much less than my previous one (so far, only flattened chicken).

It is nice to have a mallet, but I think it could be improved
3/5

I own this is the first mallet I have ever owned, and there are a few things I do not like. As far as the weight is concerned, it’s nice, but I find the handle a bit short. I also believe the head could be In this case, I mainly thin chicken breast, but you might want to consider getting one with a longer handle and a wider head if you were going to use it for something other than that. of this watch is fine, but it would have been better if it were Several bangs of the meat thinned it enough, but I felt like I had to bang the chicken breast way too many times. If these improvements are made to future Oxo models it would be perfect. Oxo has never let me down, but this one needed work. Make sure to double check all 8 corners of your mallet upon arrival, as mine arrived with the corner damaged.

Chickens fit perfectly in this size
5/5

In order to perform my task, I needed a mallet that wouldn't pulverize the chicken, but would be heavy and handy to hold. My needs are met by this one.

Tenderized meat with a new tenderizer that replaced a 15 year old one
5/5

Several years ago, we lost all the coating on our old one. The black color on your hand appeared when you used it. The question of whether it leaves metal on the food also crossed my mind. As you can see, the old one had to be replaced. There are a lot of good features to this tool. It has a very nice weight and good Additionally, I can do a dishwasher wash on it. Now my hands do not have weird marks on them. My hope is that I can last 15+ years with this one.

The item was damaged when it was delivered
3/5

When I got the mail, I was very excited. Despite being a bit small, it has a nice weight to it and I think it would be useful for my use. The excitement I felt was short lived, however, when I discovered one of the corners is damaged, making me still wonder if it would even hold up to use. I will be returning to the store in person to purchase another.

It is not much of a meat tenderizer, but it is great nonetheless
5/5

A great deal of care and attention have been put into This meat tenderizer costs a bit more than other meat tenderizers or my previous rubber mallet, but I certainly enjoy using it and it's nice not to get weird looks when I am installing flooring and then going to the kitchen to pound some chicken.
