Approximately 34 inches long, this tube is made of flexible hose. A 5" long replacement would fit in a space that is 1/4" thick on the inside and can be easily replaced. There is a weight on the end so that the tube can be swapped out into a new one, same as the other end that quickly Here is what I hope will help.
I am contacting you to let you know the injector does not have an anti-siphon Our recommendation is to remove the siphon at the same time as you remove your injector or before you finish injecting in order to prevent back contamination. As a result, any potential contaminants will remain in the tube and can be washed. It is my hope that you find this useful.
The injector is not intended to handle liquids with high viscosity. A clog will form. In order to use an injector for thick sauces, you'd need to select a different model. If you wish to use this model, you should strain all marinades beforehand, and it is more suited to liquid brines in general.
Thank you for your interest. You have a choice of 5ML, 10ML, or Thank you for your time, I hope this helps.

I don't think I have ever used a product worse than this. regularly cook and bbq for large groups, so I use pieces of meat that are quite big. There are turkeys, roasts, whole pigs, large legs of lamb, and briskets on the menu. I am mentioning this so you will understand I use flavor injectors all the time. That's why I thought I would try the plunger hand pump. The grill is set up on a whole hog as well as The briskets were first on the menu. On about one out of every three pumps, the plunger pops out. Immediately following each pump, the injector reservoir needs to fill up for two minutes. After having two 15lb briskets injected, it took a long time. I continued to hold out hope, however. The pig was next in line for me. When I tried to use my first needle, it broke. Although I switched to a new needle, the plunger still kept coming apart after the switch and instead of filling in 20 seconds, the plunger took about two minutes. Having spent an hour on the needle flavor injector, I gave up and switched over to an actual There is no need to give this product a star because that would take up your review time.
This was a waste of money and most of all my time.
The only reason I gave it one star was because I had to enter something to be reviewed. There needs to be a zero-star rating on Amazon.
An event I was attending required 12 whole chickens to be injected with the Kitchen Base Meat Injector. As soon as I got the Kitchen Base Meat Injector out of the box, cleaned it up for the initial use, and assembled it, I was incredibly pleased with the results.
My only problem was attaching the hose to the machine. I took about five to ten minutes to put it on, but that may just be due to my incoordination. It should also be noted that a user with problems with their hands (other than being uncoordinated) may find it challenging to connect the hose to the gun. It was only liquid (chicken stock) that I used. That's not what it seems to be, A) to add frustration if one so desired. We have only used the injector once (so far) and the entire process of injecting 12 chickens with it went very smoothly. In comparison to my manual injector, it was far more efficient for me to use. The caveat is When you are using this product for a single piece of meat, I do not recommend it. It might be better to use a regular injector, rather than this product, if you will not be cooking or smoking multiple items at the same time.
After its first use, the injector became harder and harder to operate. A check was conducted on the needles and the intake tube to ensure there was no obstruction. To determine if there was a problem, I adjusted the dial settings. After rebuilding the unit using the seal quit, the handle/plunger assembly broke, so we disassembled it and then used the seal quit to rebuild it, only for the dial to become extremely hard to turn. I would not recommend buying this. It is not worth your BDIs are much better than the cheap syringe-style injectors you can buy from the local kitchen store (They work at least) Spend some extra money and get something like that to keep the price down.
My order was to inject a whole hog weighing 85 pounds with this product. The first time I saw it, I was so disappointed. In my reading, I have learned that these types of injectors tend not to work well with course ground. Boiling my mixture and filtering out whatever did not dissolve allows me to then inject it. I was happy with the results. Having finally found my "go to" injector, I can now concentrate on other work. The item is nice.
By adjusting the dial, it is easy to adjust the level of seasoning. Each needle and injector gun are secured in place by elastic straps that have been attached to the case.
I was blown away by how well this injector worked. In the past month, I purchased a meat injector for each of them, and after I finished the first one It becomes clogged after a couple of uses and is trash. The one you are looking for is not I love that the liquid flows so easily, it's so easy to use, and it works like a charm.
My experience with it so far is that I have injected two pork shoulder butts and an 8 pound pork tenderloin with no problems. My food processor worked just fine for the pork butts, but, when I got to the tenderloin, it became Since the injection did not contain any spices or herbs, I do not know what caused it to clog up. When I ran water through it, it took a few times for it to start again after being taken apart. Water can be conveniently ran through it and the outside of the needle and hose wiped down.
BBQ is something I compete in. The throw-up was getting to me It is possible to remove the Just got it. I'm happy with it. On my first use, I was unable to inject three spots after it jammed up. It was not the problem when I cleaned it out. There's no way around it, these things After days of trying to get it working, it broke just as soon as it started. The item is now in the garbage. As a teacher, I can say that I did not have any issues when I used the same injection mix and a disposable injector. I don't understand why people waste money on this.
