The device is merely an on/off switch for whatever is connected to it. The controlled device is plugged into the a/c outlet of this device; The power-up is finished when the pedal is pressed. When you release the pedal, the loop is broken. What effect this has on your mixer will be determined by the type of mixer you have. If plugging it in while it's turned on and then unplugging it doesn't harm it, it's probably fine. If you are looking for a fast-paced environment, When the control is electronic, the speed is increased. Every time the control is used, it must be reset.
It is not waterproof, in my opinion. I don't see why it wouldn't work on any 110-volt grinders because it has a three-prong plug.
Yes, it will; our Cabela's grinder is compatible with it. It has greatly simplified the process of filling our hamburger and sausage bags!

e. To power your grinder, you must hold the switch in the down position with your foot, but the Amazon description says, "Start and stop your grinder with a tap of your foot," which I take to mean that you tap the switch once to turn it on, and then tap the switch again to turn it off. There's something off about this. "Allows you to start and stop your grinder with a tap of your foot," according to LEM's catalog. The advertised description prompted me to purchase this switch. A leaflet with the words "IMPORTANT-" was included in the box it came in. PLEASE READ THIS. " "The grinder will not turn on until you depress the foot pedal with your foot. " To turn off the grinder, lift your foot off the pedal and release the pressure. " This is the definition of a "momentary" switch, also known as a "dead man's switch" by some.
I'm torn on this one. The first one I ordered arrived in a used condition. This one requires you to keep your foot on the pedal in order for it to run. When you remove your foot from the pedal, it comes to a complete stop. The grinder must then be restarted by pressing the button on the side. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. With the foot switch, I assumed I could turn it on and off.
Electric meat grinder with 75 HP and stainless steel blades. This foot switch is one of the accessories that can be purchased with the grinder. I'm so glad I went ahead and purchased it! It simplifies the entire procedure! I would strongly suggest it.
When the ground meat bag is full, simply turn the grinder off, replace the bag, step on the switch, and away you go.
We process about six in a two-month period on average, which makes things a lot easier.
If you're stuffing sausage casings with a grinder, this is a must-have tool. It enables a single person to complete tasks that would normally require two people. To avoid splitting the casing or introducing air into the casing, I can more easily stop and start the flow of sausage. It's only on for a brief moment: To turn on the power, press down, and to turn it off, let up. br>br>Remember that this is just a 15 amp momentary switch; it can be used with any product that uses less than 15 amps and could benefit from a foot switch. It also looks identical to the Cabelas foot switch, which costs a lot more. My Cabelas Commercial Grade 1HP grinder is controlled by this LEM foot switch.
I've used my meat grinder foot switch a few times now and it's great; it's simple to engage and deactivate by simply stepping on the pedal to engage and off to disable. When you're grinding, it frees up your hands to work with the meat. This product comes highly recommended from me.
I bought this to help reduce wear and tear on my LEM Grinder 8. Previously, I always had a friend with me. I didn't want to leave the grinder running while I made adjustments to the meat feeding hole's size. I'm relieved to have received it.
