I have found that the version of the meat grinder that does not use the name brand works very well with my kitchenaid Grinding components are machined to a perfect match and are made of heavy duty materials! Buying is not a good idea. In a nutshell, Purchases should not be made. In my second attempt to use the unit, I noticed a strange sound coming from it before I even put A grinder blade was rubbing against the die plate when that sound was heard. The flakes of metal were in tons. The oddity was partly due to the fact that I already used it. The video and picture I submitted were taken after I ran for It seems unlikely that this $30 product from a company called KitchTree which doesn't have a website is safe to consume. I think Amazon needs to take a look at its safety. It's amazing that there have been no previous complaints about this product. This product seems like it can lead to a lot of harm to people, and it needs to be pulled from the market. I apologize to the company for posting this and harming them in some way.

The installation of my KitchenAid stand mixer was fairly straight forward. I received it in a box and it was on schedule. Inside the box was the food grinder and a brush. I presume the brush was for cleaning the grinder after you use it so your own toothbrush would not be necessary. There is a food grinder that can grind sausage meat, hamburger meat, meatballs, and other foods that you wish Whatever is on the menu, whether it be meat or vegetables. Almost everything can be taken apart so it can be cleaned and stored. So far, I have used it to make spicy sausage for my family, and it has been a great addition to my KitchenAid stand mixer.

This item feels extremely sturdy and well built. However, I took off a star for "easily to clean" as the dishwasher will not fit in the unit. It seems the reason is because of the intricacy of the set up where a dishwasher would not clean all the smaller nooks and crannies that could be reached with a little warm soapy water and the included cleaning tool. There may be some nit-picking to do here I know there are someones who would still give that section a 5 star rating but I don't like hand washing at all, so I feel justified in knocking off a star.
