It is not compatible with the mixer

unable to use We ordered this product in February but did not have the opportunity to use it until August, and it does not fit our mixer, so we are unable to use it. The return window has closed, and the item is brand new and has never been used. As a result, I guess we're out $54. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED! I'm hoping Cuisinart will stand behind their products and replace the wrong grinder with the correct one for the MODEL SM-.

If there's a chance you'll have to return something, don't buy it

If it had fit my model, I'm sure it would have been perfect. Be aware that returning it will cost you $12 in shipping and $16 in restocking fees. Is this for real?.

It's a good price and it's compatible with Kitchen Aid appliances

I bought this by mistake, assuming I had a Cuisinart instead of a Kitchen Aid - However, it was flawless. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the fact that it's made of plastic and performed exactly as I expected it to. not in the same league as metal - Nonetheless, it performed admirably and was well worth the cost.

For occasional use, this is a good meat grinder

This is a good product for both KitchenAid and Cuisart. It works as it should, but debris and tendon get caught on the blade / housing, and if you're running a large batch, you'll need to take it apart and clean it on a regular basis.

I easily attached the meat grinder to the mixer and ground some beef; it worked perfectly. I'm excited to try different meats and maybe even make some sausage.

Allow the mixer to run on speed 3 for a few minutes. Cleaning is time-consuming, but the fresh ground meat for burgers or chili is well worth the effort. I'm looking forward to trying the sausage.
