We were in need of a small scale for letters and envelopes despite not using our name brand postage meters. Scales like this have been very useful in this particular application. It is carried to the desk of the person who needs it. The ounces are close enough in larger envelopes that we can balance the envelope on its side for USPS rate calculations. In the unlikely event that my current one fails or gets damaged, I will purchase another right away.
