It does exactly what it says on the box. My hands haven't been the same since I was a child, and as I've grown older arthritis has set in, making some jars too challenging for these battered It makes it a breeze to take the lid off of ANY container. It would be a great tool to recommend to anyone who has trouble managing jar lists.

The device looks convincing in photos and in the concept as a whole The lid can now be hardened, so that the person can twist off the lid and grip it. It would have been better if I had paid more attention to the size and some of the details, and maybe, just maybe, I would not have wasted my money. * An overview of the There is a toothed rim on the bottom which could bite into plastic jar lids of a certain size. However, I am not 100% sure what products it is supposed to function for. So far, all I know is that it doesn't grip any lid I am working There is no such thing. There is no point in holding on to the grip. I'm talking about the lock here. I see a handle made of plastic that seems to lock in place and keep grip tight when the system is moved in any direction As you move clockwise (or A lock is not created by this. There is engagement with a toothed surface, but the engagement does not last. If you keep pushing this down to keep the grip while also trying to rotate the entire device, nothing works. I was expecting more of a vice grip-type approach that locks the grip in place as it is tightened. The pictures look like what I see in my mind. In reality, this is not the case. *The length of the paragraph. That is exactly what I was looking for for lids with a diameter of at least It is difficult to loosen them. It is imperative that the length of the handle be at least twice as long as the maximum diameter of the jar for you to be able to remove In order for this to work, leverage is required to loosen difficult seals. There is no way to fit anything but the smallest lids in this device. It fails miserably because it is marketed as something that should work but in fact does not.

We recommend that you STOP advertising this as a can opener because it is NOT one.

The lid can't be grabbed by it. The weight of the paper is good.

I cannot recommend this opener in any way. It didn't matter what size jar I used it on, I managed to get the back teeth to catch It was only the opener that moved when I did.

It should not be left out of any home.

Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to open anything. It is a very good concept but with a few tweaks to the catch and handle it would be perfect.

Jars are impossible to open for me because I have carpal tunnel syndrome. It helps and is very easy to use with this tool.
