There are three screws that come with each EZ Off Jar Opener, designed to fit into cabinets without poking through them. As a consequence, the screws we use may be short, but they do the job and again, this is to make sure they don't come all the way through the Quite a few people have answered that they only apply adhesive. We have tested it that way and it worked well, but we can't guarantee this will work in every circumstance, for this reason, we include screws with You won't have to use gravity when trying to screw it so firmly in place because it is stuck in place with adhesive.
The answer is yes! My shoulder was damaged following major surgery, but I still use this jar opener with one hand. The shoulder is fine now, but I still use it regularly.
Made from USA-sourced materials since 1957, the EZ Off Jar Opener has always been made in the USA. Our quality is outstanding and we are proud to continue using American workers to produce our products.
If you need to use it on things similar to balls, then you can. Some others have commented on here that theirs has not been harmed. It should be noted that if you press too hard, you can create additional grooves in the ring, but after trying it out, you will discover that you do not need to press that hard, and you can open Ball jars without damaging them.

Ensure the installation is done correctly and it will work well. There is a problem with the above picture. Ensure the front edge of the cabinet is facing the wall, not the wall itself. The following is an accurate description of Woody.
Having ordered such a gift already for my sister, I will surely order another one in the future.
Even though I have a disability, I am still able to open a jar. It is a gift from me to my father - My law firm put the thing up and I loved it so much that I ordered my own. Using this is so easy, I have no idea how I managed without it. When I put it beneath the overhead cabinet, he slides a jar in with both hands and it pops right off, no matter how hard it is to get it to stick. Additionally, I do not own stock in the company or work for Because there is so much junk that you can order over the internet, it's refreshing to receive something that actually delivers exactly what is.
am unable to spread my thumbs wide due to arthritis in my hands, so I have difficulty opening jars. Channel lock pliers are my go-to tool for most tasks, but I also have a 6" jar of chemical pool chemicals that weighs over 2 lbs. With pliers, it does not work, but with this, it does! However, hold on! This does not need to be installed the way they show you (with the point of the V facing away In this case, you will have the weight of whatever you're opening dragging at the same time as you turn counterclockwise and push the jar back against the V at the same time (which is not Unless you possess terrific grip strength like I do, you might find that the jar slips right out of your hand if the jar is wide (like a pickle jar) and/or slippery (like a cold pickle jar). The use of both hands with your arms extended outwards and up and away from you is not particularly easy unless you're tall or you're standing It is possible, but why put yourself through so much difficulty? As an alternative As close as possible to the front of your upper cabinet and, if possible, right next to the right side wall of the lip that lies under the cabinet (this part is not strictly necessary, but if your cabinet base is particle board you may find it less prone to torque over time). Pull the jar towards you while turning it in the normal way (clockwise). This will open the jar in about half of a turn or less. You will also have the option of having it close The easy way to turn is to pull toward you rather than to push away from you. Be amazed at what you'll see! Your fridge will become your new favorite place, and you'll want to open every jar inside just to see how they open! The maple syrup lid will no longer be left on the maple syrup bottle after running hot water over it! So that I do not have to run in the house to open fertilizer jars and the dreaded pool chemical containers, I'm adding one to my garage. There is no doubt that the design is perfect, but the way this thing is made to allow for easy installation is even better, and I can't understand why towel bars, racks, and other items that have to be mounted just where you want them, don't do everything as There is an adhesive pad attached to the top of the opener and you have to peel off the paper and stick it exactly where you want and then screw it in. Make sure you put in the screws before you use it. Even though the instructions imply that the screws are optional, it won't stick (or at least it didn't on mine). There will no more marking, taking down, drilling, putting up, awkwardly holding the surface in one hand while you try to get a screw to go into your hole and then to hold still while you pick up the screwdriver and try to get it in. I couldn't believe how much easier this is!
I'm very pleased to see that your engineers, EZ OFF maker, have done such a marvelous job! The things that you have done for consumers like me are amazing. Thanks for thinking about people like me, and thank you. Now go on and coach all the other manufacturers who can't seem to grasp that everyone has a right to have every product they buy open! Note One thing to keep in mind Like this, there are other tools that are similar (like Good Grips' jar opener) that don't work at all. It was a bit hesitant for me to buy this, and I am thankful to the other reviewers who convinced The difference is that the part that goes into the lid is deeper and has two blades to grip the lid instead of just This one might be the best for you if you have tried other products like this before. This is something you have to try!.
For it to be properly installed, it needs 3 screws. I would recommend using the ones that came with it since the ones that came with it are way too short. They protrude less than an eighth of an inch beyond the depth of the opener, so they are not going to hold. It would not be unreasonable if they included screws with the proper lengths. When properly installed with appropriate screws, the unit is rock solid and really works well I am sure my wife will love.
Okay, I've got it now. By putting it up with the V facing me, I am able to pull, not push as some said I should. My opinion is that it is easier to pull a log chain than it is to push one. It is the only product I have used twice on one It has been 3 years since I purchased this jar and I'm learning how to use it Neither the owner nor anyone else fact, it was because of that jar that I popped off the EZ. I had to use a little muscle in order to open it, but I think my granddaughter could have done so with no difficulty. However, I give it an A+ despite cave-ining in the lid.
There is no doubt that it grips lids, but the sharp teeth leave shiny lids scratched. To use as a pair, I bought two of these Choosing our Uncapper is the right decision. For lids with a maximum height of 3, I prefer the Uncapper. Due to the 5" screen's larger size and the fact that it has more features. As well as lifting off and resealing crown caps, the Uncapper can do that Ease of use is one of its benefits Taking lids up to 6" is what sets this apart from other lid holders. Both of them are nice to have.
This process took less than three minutes, and we did not need to drill any holes in It has an 1 3/4" drop on the front cabinet In fact, it is barely discernible when you are eye level (left photo). Also, both of my undercounter lights fit smoothly inside it (right photo). The new system is much easier and more efficient than the old one The rubber gripper can be found in the drawer, but it is faster to use.
