Questions & Answers

Is this method effective for opening Mason jars that have been sealed?

One of the most brilliant ideas ever! I've had one for about 20 years, and yes, it will open two-part Mason jars; simply remove the ring, and the sealed part will pop open!

Is this only for the first time you use it before the vacuum seal is popped, or does it also help you open jars more easily after that?

Hello! br>My name is Jessica, and I work for Harold Import Company (HIC). Thank you for contacting Brix Jarkey Jar Opener Original Easy Key with your inquiry. In response to your inquiry, the Brix Jarkey Jar Opener breaks the vacuum seal on jar lids, allowing them to spin open freely for the first time! Simply place the Jar Key jar opener against the jar's lid and gently lift the handle to release the vacuum seal, allowing the lid to be easily removed. If you have any other questions or concerns about this product, please contact me at jpetrecca@haroldimport. com. I hope this information was helpful!

Is it capable of unscrewing screw caps?

One of my favorite tools is this one. It removes the tops from pickle jars, jelly jars, and some juice bottle caps. The vacuum seal is broken, and the top falls off easily.

Is this a one-time purchase price?

Yes, it is a one-time fee.

THE WIFE SAYS IT'S AMAZING AND A MUST HAVE. UPDATE: I'm so impressed that I'm going to buy a bunch for Christmas gifts. Many people have wrist problems, so this is a must-have in the house. br>br>bought 1br>I can't do those pressure-sealed lids on pasta sauce, pickle jars, or any other pressure-sealed jar. br>I tried all of the other highly rated qizmos for opening jars, but pressure sealed is its own demon. br>I put it to the test on the dreaded large pickle jar. It's a very basic gadget. BUT IT WORKED! I read that the lid is held in place by 85 pounds of pressure, and now it's just a matter of using it. release- turn- simplebr>so simple that my wife was taken aback (she usually opposes me on kitchen gadgets)br>this worked so well that she insisted I get one for her mother and her arthritis-affected friends. GENIUS PURE GENIUS is a must-have and a wonderful gift for anyone who suffers from those pesky pressure-sealed lids. You will be remembered for this gift.

REVIEW HAS BEEN ADDITIONALLY ADDITIONALLY ADDIT I miss my TAB GRABBER! I can't open a tab can for the life of me! br>br>I WAS DOING THIS WRONG THE WHOLE TIME! Please accept my heartfelt apologies! This isn't the place to put your tabs! It's used to open SCREW JARS! And it's fantastic! When you place it under the screw lid, the air in the vacuum seal is released! The screw top is then EASY to unscrew and NOT damaged, allowing you to reseal the jar! After another customer inquired about the top's ability to close, I decided to try it out once more
5/5

Thank you so much for enquiring! Again: Please accept my apologies for the misunderstanding. It's a fantastic tool, and it's given me the ability to open jars with my aching hands! If you're looking for a unique way to.

It's so simple, I can't stop laughing! As I've grown older, I've become more aware of my surroundings
5/5

My arthritic hands have put me to the test on numerous occasions. I tried opening a jar of salsa the other day. I wasn't able to - After waiting until morning and still not being able to, I tried again the next day. I couldn't do it anymore. I read reviews of various items that might be useful, but there was always one or two that stated that they would only open three times. 1/2 inch or less The salsa jar was over 3 1/2" tall when I measured it. Then I came across an advertisement for the JarKey as an option. Isn't this far too simple to be true? Oh well, it's not too costly, so I'll try it. br>I opened the package today, a little cocky in my belief that it wouldn't work. So I started with a jar of marinara sauce. Pop! Opened. No way! Then I made my way to the dreaded salsa jar - POP - Opened. I had to fight myself not to go through the kitchen and open each jar! It's a good thing there isn't a video: )br>Made in Denmark, no sharp edges, and performs as expected - There is no reason to pass up this opportunity.

I tried it on a few jars and it didn't work
3/5

The concept is fantastic - This product, on the other hand, is not so great. I had a gallon pickle jar that wouldn't unscrew for no apparent reason. I gave it a try. I attempted to heat the metal lead by immersing it in boiling water. To improve grip, I tried a rubber pad. Nothing seemed to work. As a result, I went out and purchased a Jarkey. The Jarkey was unable to grasp the lid's bottom. It couldn't fit between the lid and the glass lip around the bottom of the lid because there wasn't enough space. However, I was able to fit an ordinary flat head (Thomas) screwdriver in there, and the vacuum seal could be released with just a slight twist of the screwdriver. After that, the lid easily unscrewed.

It works! The most effective method for easily breaking those stubborn jar seals
5/5

It's that useless tool you don't think you need, but actually do. Choose a bright orange color so you can find it quickly in your drawer! I don't want to be banging jars upside down, hitting with knives, or relying on the rubber pad for a good grip as my hands get older. It even outperforms my old gear crank opener; I thought I'd be able to do the same thing with an old-fashioned "church key," but I couldn't. This one is a lot bigger and more reliable. You will not be disappointed. People are correct, for the most part, hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

The word is vacuum, and I've decided on my first jar opener after a lot of research
5/5

The vacuum seal, I discovered, is what makes it so difficult to open. Also, all of the common supermarket jars have the same design. It's similar to cracking open a glass beer with a metal cap, but it's a lot easier. br>br>I have to admit that I brought a battery powered twister first, because all other types work by turning the cap, and I figured out that you have to hold the jar firmly while turning, which only the battery type did. Regrettably, I purchased it for a low price in an unknown shopping mall. I received a full refund despite the fact that the item was defective. The design could still be good, but I'm not sure how it would work with a tapered jar opening. The cap is significantly smaller than the jar body, and the jar has a long "neck. " Other turning types degrade the cap to some extent. br>br> A rubber mat is included in one design, allowing you to keep the jar steady as well. Another design is hidden beneath the kitchen cabinets, requiring only a firm grip on the jar body. This implies that you must maintain a firm grip on both the cap and the body in order to complete the task. And that you should use a low-profile cap to keep the cap firmly in place. You must inflict some damage to the cap in order to save money. For these reasons, I chose this alternative method, which has proven to be extremely effective.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS After trying several different types of jar openers, all of which failed for various reasons, this little gadget appeared on the recommended list, and I bought a pair on the spur of the moment, hoping that the simplicity would give them power without the issues that gripper-style jar openers had
5/5

Doohickeys is a type of doohickey. TADA! OPEN with a click, hiss, and a hiss! Absolutely fantastic, and don't worry, the jar lid can be used as well. I express my gratitude to the inventor, and my arthritic hands, in a sense, sing praises.

Sounds good to me - I don't think it's a good idea
3/5

It will not fit under the lip of the Spaghetti Jar lid to loosen the vacuum, which is the only reason I bought it. I also tried it on a second Jelly jar. I'm a complete idiot. The catching area is too wide to fit into the area where it is needed, resulting in a complete waste of drawer space.
