Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how big it is?

The total length of this item is 12 inches when it is laid flat. Including the handle, the device is about 9 inches wide. A bowl (spoon or ladle) with a diameter of 3 times its circumference has the largest diameter. I am 75 inches tall. It actually holds about 3/4 cup (when the bowl is full to the top. A cup of coffee is 75 cups). Please accept my sincere thanks for your help. Thank you for your patience as I respond to your message.

What are the chances that the nonstick pan will be scratched or damaged by this turner? Is that okay?

Yes, it will certainly cause damage. You'll need a plastic spatula for this). Although this one is particularly useful for cast iron pans!

When it comes to bowl size, how big is it?

This is a pretty big thing. There are three quarters of an inch around it and one quarter inch

Could you tell me whether this is a good size ladle for pouring pancake batter or should I get the bigger one?

As a reply to Jason V's reply. Not all 1/4 cups are equal to 4 ounces. To make a cup, you need 8 ounces. There are typically 2oz of pancake batter in a serving.

I am disappointed
3/5

A few of the design features on this turner are poor. As a turner, the blade's front edge is too thick and not bevelled, so its use is unsuitable. About half of the way down the handle, the soft handle material (black) does not seal to the stainless steel properly, so food particles, soapy water, etc. get in between the stainless steel and the soft black material, and it's impossible remove it and clean it. As far as OXO and this product are concerned, I am very disappointed.

Out of 6 brands, this is the best
5/5

I purchased this turner along with 5 other stainless steel turners at the same time. I think this one has the best design, quality, weight, and feel of all the turners. In my opinion, the handle as well as the thickness of the neck are great features. I strongly recommend OXO products since they will last a very long time. * * In our specific case, we will be using it for construction purposes since they do not produce a tool to accomplish our task. A well-made product deserves extra time and attention to detail in the review. These work well and last for a long time. Hopefully this says something about the high quality and durability of this product. By voting below, you are letting me know if this was helpful in helping you make a purchase decision.

Baby Huey should be able to use this spoon
5/5

This is one of the things I bought about five years ago I purchased an Oxo product years ago and it is my favorite spoon. It's about twice the size of what I consider to be the "normal" size. It's large, heavy, and well built and I have yet to be disappointed by any Oxo product. Even though some people do not like the size, this spoon is handy for soups, chilis, and pasta salads that you don't want to dip into frequently or have a lot of food fall off . . . and it does not fall off very much. For about 10 years, mine has looked pretty much as good as it did on the day I received it This item really was a bargain and well worth the money. The spoon itself isn't the best for stirring anything, as very little of the spoon bar will touch the bottom of a pan, but it is a wonderful serving spoon you won't have to worry about.

I found it to be a great bargain and a pleasure to use it
5/5

An upscale store selling kitchen supplies in the Bay Area would expect a ladle with this type of look and feel to cost at least four times what Amazon charges. This thing is simply superb, from its solid heft in your hand to the sheen it emits from its brushed stainless steel finish. I believe that if you buy the best tools for cooking, you will only have to do it Cooking becomes a joy not only because they produce better food, but also because they make the process enjoyable. In my opinion, I have no idea how OXO can sell this ladle at this price and make money from it, but I give them a lot of credit for it. The next time I need to replace some of our flimsy bargain-brand items, I'll keep this brand in mind My penny-pinching penny-pincher did his best to purchase kitchen utensils from the basement Getting a little pinch from your partner.

A stainless steel product is not available
3/5

A stainless steel item is NOT a stainless steel one. Despite having this for just a few months, there is already rust on it. Money was wasted, and I'm angry about it.

There is a possibility that the grip will come loose
3/5

The ride was fantastic for the short time Easy to clean, does not get hot, and does not get hot when using. Sadly, the rubberized plastic grip is glued to the device, and when I dropped it, it came off.

Turner who makes a good solid effort On the underside of the handle is a synthetic material
5/5

Despite the fact that I have to pay twice the amount I would pay at my local supermarket, this is a far superior product. This is most of it made out of a single piece of On the outside of the handle is a black synthetic material, which I am not thrilled about as I wanted a turner that could be used by Ox, the oversized beagle puppy. It's no problem for him to get into the sink and over the counter since he's a big boy. There is no guarantee that every one of the dishes gets done after dinner, and the hound has gone through three good turners, which he drags into the living room and buries in his favorite quilt on the sofa to snack on later when no one is Therefore, the single-tax system does not apply The steel construction was what drew me in. I thought it would be fun to let that dog try eating this one. I would have noticed a difference had I looked more closely at the photograph Although this site is notorious for posting photos of something other than what is being sold, in this case it's the exact product this is a review of, as of the date this review was written- If I had looked at the handle only, I would have seen the black material underneath. You probably won't notice any significant difference, but it would have been even better if it had been just stainless steel and nothing else. It's a nicer heft, easier on the hand than if it had been all steel, and it will probably suit your needs just fine. I believe this is a great tool for someone who uses cookware frequently that does not come with a nonstick interior, or that does not include an integrated utensil holder In the house, a pup is stealing food. normally use another turner for my nonstick pans, but this one works well for frying pans and skillets I have from Calphalon and Revere Ware. The turner would be a good buy again if the need arose. Ox is present in the house, so it might happen.

For 4 years, I have been using it and enjoy it a lot! One more is on its way
5/5

It is the first spatula I've ever truly enjoyed using. My other spatulas failed to live up to it. A spatula like this is one of my favorites and usually I use it You can make them for dinner or pancakes at breakfast time. I feel that it's very durable and it looks the same as when I bought it, even though I wash it almost every day in the dishwasher. My experience has been that it does not hold heat like the others, so if I leave it on the edge of a pan or pot I do not get melted plastic dripping or find it too hot to handle. The spatula is on the large side, so if I want to flip bacon, I may choose a smaller one. In any case, I'm getting this and the one by Sam and something along those lines. would introduce a smaller version that has the same qualities as the handle, but without sacrificing the efficiency.
