Sturdy and suitable for deep frying in a 5 quart cast iron pot

See photo for how it fits into my 5qt cast iron pot for easy deep frying. The handle is a little too big, but it's very sturdy for lowering and raising chicken parts; it's not bendy or flimsy in the least. The handle has a folded down loop at the end that can be gripped securely with an oven mitt and hung. It was exactly what I needed, and it was far superior to the local spiders.
