The spreader I used for several years finally broke, so I spent a good deal of time trying to find a replacement. It was this one that I finally came across, many of the reviews were positive, so I was enticed to try it. My favorite part of this spreader is the little handle. Compared to my old one, this one actually works better. Spreads evenly and gets down to the bottom of the jar. The following caution applies Put into the dishwasher only if you have to. That will cause the wooden handle to rot. This can be cleaned by hand very easily.

I want to vomit! had been wishing for a wide sandwich spreader for so long! I received this a few days later

To begin with, the plastic bag in which it came was coated in a sticky white I'm so freaking out! DO WANTED TO THINK THERE COULD BE SOMETHING TO IT. In my attempts to get to the knife, I cleaned it off just to get to it. The second problem was the knife There was a very old and used look to it. Splinters were coming out of the wooden handle in every direction. For me, that's not a good idea. It would have been better if I had listened to the customer who said her Knife splintered. This was delivered on the 3rd of July. It is the Fourth of July. It has never been used.

Spreader that is easy to use! It wasn't until I got this that I realized what I have been missing The best butter ever! This cream cheese is amazing! The pimento cheese is amazing! All kinds of peanut butter are fine

There are many cheese spreads, jams, and hummus on the market. This is perfect You should only handwash the handle and not let it soak in water.

It's the best spreader I've ever owned. The product is exactly what I was looking for and performs flawlessly. Since I rinse off the handle and avoid soaking it in water as others have said, I hope it will last a long time.

The construction is very nice and sturdy. wouldn't recommend placing it in the dishwasher unless you don't care if the wooden handle fades because of repeated washing. rubbing it occasionally with olive oil will keep it glossy. I would not hesitate to purchase another one as this is my second one. This product is great.
