These are lightweight and sturdy at the same time. The tablecloth is great for everyday use, but would also be great to dress up your table for special occasions. It seems like they'd make great housewarming gifts for people in your life with those inspirational sayings.

I love these trivets because they are lightweight and easy to move around

It's not hard to agree that these are lightweight (they are cork, I know, but they feel sturdy enough for a tabletop trivet). The plates have been used several times to place everything from oversized pasta pots to iron skillets of cornbread on the table and they have always performed with no problems. I very much like this.
