This was a Christmas gift that my daughter-in-law adored. It has a lovely appearance and is simple to maintain. I like the sentiment on the spoon rest, but it's a little small for two spoons. It's difficult to find a large, handle-equipped spoon rest, but this will suffice. It didn't matter to her; she enjoyed it. It appeals to me greatly.
