It's food-grade silicone, according to the manufacturer's website. I had assumed that the many silicone kitchen items I own were food-safe. This is an excellent item.
They come in a set of two and are ideal for use with an electric stove with a glass surface.
The base of the spoon is 4 inches in diameter. 5" x 6" is the size of the print. I work as a pastry chef. These are something I use on a regular basis. They're fantastic!

So I purchased these to replace the plastic one that my wife had left behind when she moved out and took most of the kitchenware with her. 'Goodbye,' says the narrator, referring to the HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA I ended up taking that cheap plastic piece of garbage for a ride, and it promptly broke on the sidewalk. Of course, I hadn't considered that and was now in need of a spoon rest, so I chose this set because it appeared to be large enough and looked nothing like the one I had sailed across the parking lot with. They work well and are simple to clean. br>br> Having two is much more convenient because I can keep one on the stove and the other near my new toaster oven. They're large enough to hold a large spoon, spatula, or ladle, which I like. br>br>I'm not sure they'd fly as far as the old one, but I'm not going to throw them.
First and foremost, you get two in different colors so you can place them where you need them, and at the age of 76, guess how many spoon holders I probably bought in my lifetime; second, you get two in different colors so you can place them where you need them. The black and gray color scheme matches our countertops and appliances perfectly, and they nest nicely inside each other, taking up little space and having a small handle for easy picking up. I'm considering purchasing more so that visitors can enjoy hot coffee while relaxing on our island with us.
These spoon rests are ideal because they are large enough to hold ladles but not too large to take up too much space. I can either put them in the dishwasher or clean them by hand. In general, it's better than the metal spoon rest I've had for years, which requires more elbow grease to clean when food gets dried on it. I put one in the camping trailer and one in the house because these spoon rests came in a set of two, and I find myself reaching for this one over my old metal one when I'm at home, and I'm also very happy when I'm camping. I would strongly suggest it!.
These are large enough to accommodate a spatula, soup ladle, or other large utensil. They're made in such a way that the spoon rarely, if ever, comes into contact with the spoon rest, with the exception of the tool's neck. On the stovetop or on the counter, it looks fantastic. I would strongly suggest it.
They're made of high-grade silicon and aren't at all flimsy. Despite the fact that they can be washed in the dishwasher, I prefer to wash mine by hand and return them to the drawer.
Silicone is used for the rest, so grease and oil can be easily removed. They're also a good size, measuring 4 inches in length. It measures 5 x 6 inches and has a nice oval shape with a raised handle. The rest's main body is flat, with raised edges to catch a decent amount of oil or grease, and the handle portion is stable enough to rest the handle of whatever utensil you'll be placing on it.
This is fantastic! It is light in weight and can withstand heat and flame. They do, however, have a criss-cross pattern on their backs. Food gets stuck in a cross pattern when it rises vertically. That'll take a lot of scrubbing. The food would simply wipe off if it weren't for the raised pattern. That is why it isn't a perfect five-star rating. Otherwise, a good solution at a reasonable price.
