Considering the price tag, I would say it's totally fine. I bought this to hold some swedish dishcloths, which are incredible by the way, go buy some and save yourself a lot of money. There are no screws on this thing that can really be tightened, and it would be nice if they could, because it's a little loose and wobbly on both sides. The tablet does not sit flat on the counter, and if you try to tip it, it wobbles a little. In spite of its low cost, it has a nice look and is better than other alternatives like stainless steel or acrylic. If I had to buy it again, I would. Despite my desire to gift this item to anyone, I'd instead wait to see it in person myself, to ensure I did not receive a defective.
To match my Tuscan/Santa Barbara kitchen, I was looking for something rustic. The task of finding traditional yet simple clothing was a challenge. There isn't a better option for me than this. I especially love that it has a matte finish as it seems more high-end This version was more useful in the end (IMO) than a glossy version. The quality is great and the construction is very sturdy. This item was reported by a number of other reviews as arriving broken. As soon as I saw it, I was confused at how they broke I am impressed with how solid it is! It is of heavy weight and well made, and has soft feet on the bottom to keep it looking smooth.
It stays in place when pulling napkins from it since it is made of cast iron. A felt pad is used on the bottom so that it won't scratch or bang against the counter or table. This is a highly recommended book!.
