It's a dusty red with a muted undertone. The color isn't a fiery red like a fire engine. This is a very nice holder.
the item is 5-inches tall 5 inches long by 1/2 inch wide. Although it should work, only a small amount of napkin will protrude.
It can hold more than 20 people; I have 25 in mine, folded in half with plenty of room to spare; you could probably fit 40 or more people without folding.
Yes, absolutely! This sturdy napkin holder is the perfect size for holding dinner napkins. My black granite counter tops look fantastic with it!

Okay, I understand that the product has received a number of negative reviews. My package arrived undamaged and in good condition. It's made of cast iron. AND. You can get "a" napkin out of it without it tipping over if you get four of them at once. It's also quite lovely. I understand what you're saying about the product being damaged when it arrives. NOT COOL. However. Because the product is flimsy, it is not delivered broken. It's not made of paper. Someone between the warehouse and the delivery truck (I won't say who) broke the product, so it's being delivered broken. is flinging it around like a pillow. My advice is for the shipper to go the extra mile and better package it. Mine did not appear to have been tossed from one end of the warehouse/delivery truck to the other. If only that had been the case. It would most likely have failed miserably. (I give my warehouse shipper and delivery person a big pat on the back. ) In the end, those who were unjustly given a defective item should contact Amazon. It should be presented in a more appealing manner. But don't let this lovely napkin holder pass you by. If you're lucky, you'll be able to keep it intact. It's likely that you'll enjoy it.
There were also tiny ants crawling around inside the box's plastic packaging. We were home when the item was delivered, so it wasn't left outside near ants, and there were no ants on the packaging's exterior. This item will be returned to me. Bed Bath and Beyond carries the Home Basics line. So, hopefully, I'll be able to find something similar there.
This napkin holder appealed to me because I already own a trivet from the same company and am familiar with its durability. Not once did I feel let down. It's made of cast iron and has a solid enamel finish. It's not going anywhere because it's heavy. This is most likely the last napkin holder I'll ever need to purchase. Their trivet is also something I would recommend. For the past eight years, I've had mine. It receives a perfect score of ten out of ten.
The manufacturer had to have written the positive reviews. or perhaps a vendor! It's certainly lovely, and the color is ideal for me, but it arrived broken, despite the fact that it appeared to be properly padded. The material is VERY FRAGILE, as can be seen by looking at it. Napkin holders seem to last forever, only to be replaced for the sake of variety. This is going to be a quick one. I'll risk replacing it with another one because I like the design and color, but only if it comes with at least a year, if not two, of warranty and free shipping if it breaks. It will be a punishment if this does not happen.
Many appear to be damaged when they arrive. My package was completely ripped in half, and the missing half wasn't even in the box. br>Amazon demanded that I return it in order to receive a refund or replacement - On such a low-cost, low-quality item, the effort is simply not worth it.
I liked the item, but it was damaged when it arrived in its sealed packaging. I returned it and placed an order for a replacement, giving it a second chance. The second one arrived undamaged, and I am pleased with the overall appearance of the item, which I hope will last.
I really wanted to like this napkin holder, but it flopped over when I put square napkins in it. The napkins flopped more and more as they were taken away for use. It might work for large dinner napkins that are folded into a rectangle. I've reverted to using my old napkin holder, which keeps the napkins flat and secures them with a decorative bar.
But, because I needed a red napkin holder to match my Christmas table (I didn't like any Christmas themed holders) and there weren't many red napkin holders available, I decided to take a chance on this one, and I'm glad I did. It's heavy-duty, has a rubber bottom, and doesn't tip over! I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
