Several years ago I switched to a standing desk on a whim and went cold turkey all in, no transition period. After years of sitting in front of a computer I am finally comfortable while working. After years of sitting in front of a computer I really want to love this product. I have a standing desk that I really like. However, I realized that I would need a good standing mat right away. As soon as I bought the Topo, I realized it wasn't going to last. So I started doing some research and discovered it wouldn't happen. The book is still with me, and I am going to try it again after taking a break. However, I am just too weak to handle it. A large piece of furniture is also a problem. The weight of my body is 115 lbs and I'm 5'3". A wide stance is uncomfortable for women and for those of us with wide shoulders. It is hard for me to stand with one foot on the front and one on the back like the photo shows. And the flat part is hard. I like the idea of different levels because there is a need to move your legs more than just shifting your weight but I can't figure it out. There could be a problem that it was developed for men and I am too small to benefit from it. The next time I try it I will return it if I have the same experience as I had the first time. Unfortunately, I have to apologize. As much as I wanted to love this, I couldn't.
