I am pleased with my decision. Several of these containers I had, but never came to the conclusion that I enjoyed the experience. For the first time, I observed that my old thermos was tepid, sometimes not even warm after a few hours. I then encountered these 24 and 17 ounce food jars for the first time, and they work quite well. poured in half a cup of chili, and it was still very hot after 5 hours. The food jar was preheated in the microwave beforehand. It's a good idea to fill this jar with hot soup, as I'm convinced it will keep hot for at least eight hours. Glad I bought this set of jars.

It was extremely gratifying to notice that the thermos container retained heat well.
