The 18 ounce bags of coffee that I had purchased were a bit of a gamble. In addition, this jar won't hold everything in it thus, I believe that it holds exactly one pound (16 ounces) of coffee grounds. My heart is very heavy about this, as I may have to return it, even though I do not I would highly recommend this product to people who need only 16 ounces.
