The 14 place setting china required two sets, so I ordered two. There were small, medium, and large bowls in addition to saucers, dessert plates, salad plates, and dinner plates, so it was a perfect fit. The two sets of storage don't fit everything, so I put my butter dish and a small platter in the extra round container instead. I've been surprised with how well made the china has been. I needed to store it in my mother's attic for babyproofing and it didn't even shift or bump on the forty minute drive, so I am very happy with how well it is protected. Additionally, I appreciate that the compartments are sturdy enough to stack so that when they're stacked they take up next to no room when they're stored.

There's a cup storage container on top with a soft lid on this model. The quality of this one is far below those of the others. I was very disappointed, and there is nothing to suggest this in the product description.

As a young mother, I had inherited my mother's Christmas china from her mother and wanted to give it My dishes usually sit in stacks in an armoire. My favorite part of this china set is the storage drawers. There are hard bottoms and tops as well as hard sides of the pieces, so you can stack them. It would be great to be able to buy individual sizes as well. A saucer and bread and butter plate as well as a fruit bowl fit in the smallest one. A few extra smalls would be useful for me.
