While I only received it a few days ago, reading the manual leaves me with the impression that this listing is misleading. Although the Amazon listing claims it can hold 44 bottles of wine, the manual states that it can only hold 34 standard bottles. I'm not sure I can trust the manufacturer if they are lying about the actual capacity of their product. Fingers crossed that this.
Putting six bottles on a shelf makes it difficult to get them in or out, because the bottles have to be stacked back-to-front while the next one has to be stacked front-to-back. In any case, it won't hold 44 bottles even if they are put in that way. Furthermore, there is no shelf at the bottom, so you have to lay the bottles in there sideways and they fall out as soon as the door opens. Furthermore, it does not tell you what temperature you have set the wine cooler to, it just informs you of what temperature you have set it to.

In the future, I would not buy this refrigerator, and I would favor another vendor and product. I bought it in December of 2018 as a Christmas present for my wife. While she enjoyed it, the fridge froze all of 18 bottles of wine and champagne in the fridge after 6 months. After they replaced the first fridge in September with a warranty replacement, they sent me a new fridge within the warranty period. Again, within three months (November) the same issue occurred and the motherboard died and showed the error code L-. Even after 2 failed fridges and a significant loss of money in wine and champagne from a frozen fridge, Compact Appliances will not refund any Amazon orders after 30 days because that is their policy. They will instead send you to EdgeStar's warranty department for a replacement or warranty repair.
