It was difficult for me to review the product personally, but it was simply too good not to share. My main way to decide what to buy is to look at the star ratings posted by I found a small card inside this package that said to rate it 5 stars and they would give me a $30 gift card. The gift card is for a $100 Amazon gift card. A $30 unit is essentially a $30 unit. The addition of an $800 item invalidates all the ratings of 5 stars. It was noisy, the suction was weak, and it had deceptive advertising that led me to return it.

This was the third one we owned and is by far our favorite. It just goes to show that quality does not always equal cost. It was at least twice the price of my previous two units. I cannot speak to longevity, but I can say that it made an excellent first impression. It is very easy to use and the fact that I can remove the top and wash the lower part is a big advantage. If you have used this style of vacuum sealer, then you know that the lower "tray" is what gets the dirtiest when sealing or marinating anything that contains even a little It is often used for food storage and sous vide cooking, so I hope it holds up and proves durable. The item is in good condition, and if need be I would like to purchase another one. It's perfect as a gift for those in a hurry who need to eat quickly. The possibilities are endless when it comes to recipes.

I have been considering buying a food vacuum sealer for years, but I finally took the plunge and am delighted with my choice. We love Costco meats, but rarely indulge in the large quantities needed to justify buying them. The meats above have all been vacuum sealed for freezing and I have used it to make freezer portions so far. Despite the fact that the instruction manual does spell out everything, I found the sealer to be simple to operate with intuitive buttons. The vac sealing feature is also great for marinating meat and holy cow, compared to regular ziplock bags, the marinade has SO much more flavor with vac sealing since there is constant contact between the marinade and the meat. I also appreciate the fact that the product comes in a nice box, which I intend to use to store it when not in use. It fits nicely into a bottom cupboard of ours. The overall experience is highly recommendable.

I have a problem with their attempts to create a vacuum after lasting for a year and a half or two years. These machines are very important to me since I buy in bulk and package meat in quantity of 100 to 150 pounds. Last time I used a FoodSaver, halfway through the pork, it failed and it would be the last one I own. My order arrived on time. The machine was exactly what I ordered. According to the advertisement, the product did what it was advertised to do. It is my intention to order another machine to take with me when I travel, as I like to take advantage of sales and need to be able to seal and freeze product.

When I tried 8 times, I didn't get any air to escape, but the bag did seal well. As a result, I wrote a review that was pretty harsh. As I was reading reviews for another model, I came across someone who wasn't getting the bag into the bag correctly. After attempting again, I realized that I had put the bag in too far and that I was not leaving an opening between the gaskets in the chamber. I was able to fix the issue once I did this. By reading and understanding the instructions, you will be better prepared to follow them. In addition to the bags provided with the machine, I was also able to use other bags. I have not had time to check how well these things do in the freezer, but I will give this vacuum sealer a fair try for a while.
