Do you think the blade will stay sharp for long enough before it needs to be replaced and how sharp is it?

In my opinion, it's more like a rough surface than anything sharp. I don't have to worry about cutting myself since I can use this without any difficulty. Personally, I expect that I will need to replace it many years into the future. The instructions state that I should use it as soon as I get out of the shower.

Every effort has been made to make this item the best it can be. Even though I have been using this product for some time, it has not convinced me that it is truly the solution to slice The bagels do not slice smoothly, which causes them to chew up. This will probably get pushed aside and I will search for an alternative.

It is one of the best bagel cutters I've ever used! These are gifts I bought for all my friends and family members. Bagel cutting can actually be done with your eyes shut and you won't get hurt. With it, anything from a bagel to a pizza is easy to cut evenly and quickly.

The product can be used safely. "Bagels and coffee" was the topic of a recent get-together with friends. It was a big hit with everyone. A couple of them wanted to take my bagel cutter home. All you need to do is hold on to the bagel and let the cutter cut around it. Bagels can be cut easily even when they are fresh. The six more I just bought will be gifts for Christmas!.

I prefer using a guillotine than The item does the job just as well for me, but it is definitely a space saver. The condition it came in also turned me off a bit. I got it as a warehouse deal as a "like new" item, but the condition turned me off.
