With my "Bagel Guillotine" (same product, different name), the blades are just 1/4"" inches above the bottom of the bagel rest, and leaves a small tab on the bagel halves, which can easily be taken apart. There is a pointed triangle on the blade that cuts the bagel well, even when it has DEFROSTED in it. This box has an inside dimension of about 1-inch The blade is approximately four inches thick and seven eighths of an inch wide The bagel holder measures 7/8" at the longest (point), and it measures 4" at its widest point at the top. A 7/8" pizza. This cutter has let me successfully cut just about every bagel I've bought over the years.
There is no silver one in my kitchen, but I have a white one. Due to my personal love of onion bagels, I just ran it through the dishwasher (top shelf only), and it needs a regular wash more often.
In speaking with the inventor's daughter, she confirmed that you can get one made in the United States, but it bills at $60 and the blades are not replaceable since it's Several years ago, they contracted out the home units to China. She told me that the Chinese units are actually of better quality than those we can get here in the United States. Some, she said, have their names on the base, indicating they made it from their own patent but did not make the copy. She warned that the patent expired, so beware of knockoffs. However, the difference is in the blade, so if you are shopping on Amazon, look for the hoan brand to make sure you are getting the genuine product.
I love the question you ask. The answer is not really clear to me. In the list of ingredients, you're advised not to use frozen or extremely In any case, the size of the bagel might be a problem if it is I didn't have to worry about my hand being cut up from cutting a bagel, and I don't have to go to the ER. Make the real bagel bagel by putting the right ingredients in the right order. Bagel makers outside of New York generally do not make the real thing anymore. What a disgrace and what a pity.

In addition to not cutting the bagels, it didn't even spin. The exact same one we've used first time around lasted over three years, being used several times a day for our business. This is exactly the same one I bought, and it is horrible. The blade was so dull that it actually smushed and mangled the bagels, not to mention that it didn't cut them. The bread knife was thrown out and we now have to use a bread knife instead. Products are getting cheaper and cheaper these days. Shame on you.
There may be a problem with the blade that prevents it from cutting As the blade is shielded by a plastic safety guard that appears to be riveted to the pushdown handle, there is no way to sharpen the cutting edge.
This allows us to slice our bagels easily, that is except for our fluffy Mastiff who has yet to learn how to hold anything other than her chewing bone. However, we are doing our best to rectify the situation. As our first experience with The Guillotine, we sliced about a dozen bagels exactly so they could be placed in ziploc bags and put During the second use, we cut six bagels with it. Another six bagels were sliced when we used it the third time. A fourth time is a charm. Folks, you get what I'm trying to say. One function is served by it, and that function is performed well by it. No matter if it was cinnamon raisin, sesame or bacon habanero, you can be sure that the Guillotine strikes fear into all bagels even if they are cinnamon raisin or plain. I witnessed the bagels shaking after they learned about their fate, as my kids claim- Against the powerful Guillotine, there is no resistance. This dish is dishwasher-safe and easy to clean, which makes it an excellent My only suggestion would be to increase the width of the bagel holder, as some of the really juicy oversized bagels don't quite fit in.
to begin rapidly and make sure that the blade is parallel to the bottom portion of the bagel so that it does not tilt or tip over. A blade may be too long or too short as a result Your bagel is too fat or not symmetrical if the center of the bagel is not in the center. As you continue to push and press the blade, the top portion of the slicer should eventually come into contact with the bottom portion. You should not expect a perfect slice every time. If you expect the blade to always make a symmetrically halved bagel, go back to the bagel maker and complain about the bagels that don't turn out perfectly. Trying to push too hard on the blade could cause it to strike the side of the bottom portion of the tool There is no need to cut wood with a knife. You shouldn't get this machine if you care more about cutting a bagel in half perfectly, rather than knowing you are making a perfect cut through a bagel. If your goal is to slice a bagel without cutting your fingers, this is also a good choice.
It's my first time in college. I love bagels! My daughter loves them! They are usually bought by the dozen and she seems to have one almost every morning for breakfast. However, she is somewhat of a klutz (like her mother) and cut her finger quite frequently with the bread knife. The guillotine-style bagel slicer we use at work reminded me of one I once had at home, so I searched on Amazon for one. I found a few different models, but this one caught my eye due to the price, quality, and, of course, free Then again, there's always the risk of another cut finger with slow shipping. The delivery was provided well packaged, and as always, on time. Four large metal rivets bind the device in place. It is made of very thick plastic it is quite solid. Bagel, a breakfast treat A fat bagel fits comfortably in the holder, which is black and wide enough to accommodate it. The bottom of the pan is open to prevent seeds and crumbs from accumulating. There is a serrated edge, and the blade is A warning message is displayed that reads This is a very sharp blade! A quick slit in the middle of bagels makes it easy to slice them Once the bagel is cleaned, it must be cleaned of its seeds and bagel residue. It takes a quick rinse to get the job done. I now use it on a daily basis and keep it on the kitchen counter. Thank you very much! I'm delighted with my purchase.
You've done a good job. Having this item is great since it's easy to store and great in terms of functionality. It's always perfect to cut with the blade because it's so sharp. You might want to use a mat or paper towel at the bottom since there will be crumbs falling all over. In spite of this, you can easily clean it up if you do it next to the sink, and just brush it It's one of those items that you didn't know you needed until you tried it, and now you're glad you did.
