Although it is expensive, it uses whole beans rather than pods or K-cups. cups, as well as a far superior cup of coffee.

My only criticism is the instructions, which were at times difficult to follow but were eventually clarified if only one process was followed at a time.

This machine does exactly what it should: grinds and brews excellent espresso. It is packed with useful features and performs admirably. The best feature of this model is the 'long coffee' option, which makes the best cup of'regular' coffee I've ever had. Kcup, I'm sorry to see you go.
