My instant pot was recently moved under the cabinet in my kitchen following an arrangement of my kitchen. My previous practice had been to store it in the pantry and pull it out as needed, but now that I use it so often, I have a permanent spot for it. Unfortunately, I was having an issue where my cabinets were in direct contact with the steam from the pressure cooker. That is not good for wood over the long run from what I know about it. This is the definition. I use this gadget to divert steam laterally to prevent my instant pot from having to be pulled out every time I use it out of under the cabinet. My search for one of these was fun I really had a hard time choosing one. But after I considered all the options, I am glad I picked something that blends in with the appliance, looks like it belongs there since I now have an instant pot on the counter.

When you have read the questions and answered them In answer to your questions, I was unsure whether or not this model was applicable. This gave me the chance to try it out. It was a great decision! It's a great product. A great product that is easy to put on and The steam from my instant pot now flows off the side instead of directly up and onto my cabinets when I release it. This diverter is essential if you want to avoid steam buildup in your cabinets when steam is released. I'm surprised that it hasn't been incorporated into the design of the Instant Pot.

There is a significant amount of misleading information in the picture. While I can use it to rotate my head and face up, it does not move at all so you cannot move it up or down. If it is on a counter, then the steam comes out at face level. Steam was also being forced out the bottom of the tank as a result of this. It is in my opinion unsafe and does not deserve to be recommended. The one I had returned was.

This is something I have been looking for for a while. I use my instant pot a lot and every time I do I have to turn the unit around to avoid steam going under the It was told to me by a friend that these are awesome. After searching for a few months, I finally found one that would easily blend in I found this to be a very easy to use tool, and it looked great. This attachment is installed on top of the original steam opening and diverts the steam to one side instead of upwards. Therefore, you can avoid injuries or damage if you are in control of where it aims.
