Microwavable is a term used to describe something that can be heated in a microwave. It Has the Potential to Get Hot. The plates are attractive and well-made, and they appear to be of good quality. What was unexpected is that these aren't "microwave safe. " "Dishwasher safe" is written on the back of the plate. Suitable for microwaving It has the potential to get hot. "I took a picture of the back and put it up here. I went out of my way to find plates that could be used in the microwave. So, when I saw the back of the book, I was a little disappointed. To see what would happen, I put it in the microwave for two minutes. The center of the plate did get hot, but the edges were fine. I'm undecided as to whether or not I'll keep these. I wanted to write the review so that others could benefit from the information I didn't have.

I ordered these plates first to see if they were as good as they appeared in pictures. They have a lot of qualities that I like: the design, the quality, the finish, and the size; they are slightly larger than other salad plates, which is very useful. I use them as dinner plates from time to time. If you're still undecided, choose your design and place your order. You'll almost certainly order more of the set's pieces. My dinner plates have already been added.

These are bright and lovely, and they complement my Fiesta dishes in solid colors. Finding colorful/patterned dishes that were not outlandish, too modern, or in any other way stylistically displeasing proved difficult. I've only had them for about 6 months, but they've performed admirably thus far. br>br>I got the salad plates and bowls (the dinner plates are more red, which I didn't want). I'd buy dinner plates, mugs, and serving bowls in this pattern (with a white background rather than a red or blue background).

These are absolutely stunning. They appear to be more vibrant in person than in photos, with vibrant colors that aren't overdone. They're thick enough to feel substantial but thin enough to stack with ease.

These plates are one of our favorites. This is my second set of Bico dishes; they are of good quality and come at a reasonable price; I will continue to purchase their products. In recent years, as we've all become more accustomed to cooking at home, I've come to appreciate having a variety of dishes to choose from to complement the meal I've prepared each day. They make it so much fun to be able to do this! Thank you very much.

These should not be used in the microwave. If microwaved for any length of time, they will become extremely hot. It's too hot for bare fingers to touch. And they continue to leave white marks on EVERYTHING. Oh, how I adore my Dinner and Salad Plates with Birds on a Tree. This is the first complete set I've ever purchased! However, almost everyone has a chip now, less than two years later. Some of the chips are very sharp. When used in the microwave, it becomes extremely hot. I'm sorry to have to give this product a poor rating:.
