It would have been better if I had SAVED my money and gone to the Friggin Dollar Store! There have been 4 cracks and two breaks on the 6 sets of holders. Every time these were used, they would be hand washed after every use, and they’d only be used twice a month! These pieces of crap are disgusting! **MAKE SURE that MONEY is NOT wasted! It is stupid to go to DOLLAR stores, where you can buy a dozen sets for a penny, and they will last you for years. These look like a much nicer alternative to the usual plastic yellow ones that you see - I thought the colorful padded handles would be a nice change. If they had been durable, they would have been. I was SO disappointed in this product. Do not waste your time or money on it.

The corncob holders and dishes I have have been in my possession for a long time. So I bought a few more as I only have four. Despite my expectations, this set was not up to par. There are several thin, flimsy dishes at the buffet. The ones I have are nothing like the one I have now. It was difficult to separate them since the rubber sleeve would pull off. The ones I returned are of poor quality and I will try to find some that have a better.

In the next couple of days, I plan to use the holders even though I haven't used them yet. It is based on the fact that these holders do not have silicone grips that justify a 4 star rating in the ease of use category. While ordering them, I noticed they were not listed as silicone, so I thought, all right, I guess I will live with that. Then I would like them to be silicone grips so I could put them on the raw ears and boil them. Having said that, I remain excited about using this set, especially knowing I understood its construction. There seems to be no problem with the corn plates.

The corn was hot, so I put the butter on top of it and put hot corn on top of it. It is easy to hold corn in the holders since they are large enough.

Despite careful handling, two of the prongs of the corn have broken. This store has a similar quality to a Dollar Store, but at a higher price. Garbage that is thin, flimsy, and worthless Don't do it!.

Easy to use and very effective, these corn holders are a great choice. A little more stability would be beneficial for the dishes. The corn is still buttery if you want it to be.

Store safely as it is easy to do so. You no longer have to poke your finger trying to find a pair because the parts lock into each other.
